so I've literally had these votive holders for at least 5 years, I've had about a million ideas & I finally decided to try my hand at hand-etching. It was SO fun, really labor-intensive but definitely worth it.

they're supposed to be votive holders but they're really big, more like a rocks glass, they would definitely make for a fun party & interesting bartending  Grin

so here's pics w/ votives in:

and here's more pictures of all the animules:

the retro starburst pattern (which took a million years):

the drrrty birdies!:
there's a bird, a penguin, an owl (my fave), & a duck

close-ups:

and the barnyard animules:
lambykins-

piglet-

doggie-

cow & more lamb-

so there they are! I'd like to label all my containers at work if I could find the time. So many options! let me know what you guys think, I feel like I can't decide where to go from here

thanks!
the glass is really thick & that would be the only reason they wouldn't be the most fun rocks glasses in the world, just picture those retro starburst glasses w/a martini & some olives on a lil pink sword, n an umbrella..... super tiki style.

so cute!  i especially like the retro diamond one, would definitely make a great set of glasses.  did you use the etching cream or sand blasting for your votives?  i tried the cream on a mirrored box and even after *several* coats it just never came out as clear as you cute little votives.

I used etching cream, I only put on one really thick coat, were you painting with it or did you use a stencil?
