I received the most beautiful clock from serendipity_sarah yesterday!  Absolutely perfect for my bathroom, which I am doing in mermaids!  Here is a close-up:

I asked for a little modesty because I have young boys in the house (i.e. no boobs).  She found the most perfect picture, but, alas, it had a boob showing.  Here is what she wrote to me:

"I took some "articistic license" and discretely made her a bit more modest by painting some copper highlited hair to cover her exposed boob."

I laughed so hard.  So did my son, who I think wanted to see the boob!

Anyhow, I was gone when my husband came home.  He called me on the phone and asked about the new clock.  He thought I had bought it!  It is absolutely gorgeous!  He also mentioned that I should never be late again!

Here is a shot of it in its new home (excuse me in my bathrobe!):

Thank you so much, serendiptity_sarah!  You did an amazing job!  I am so glad to have had you for my partner!  Take care.

I am so glad you like your clock, bkrenning4.  Glad my note gave you a little laugh!  Wink

I wish!  It is a print of a painting by John William Waterhouse that I decoupaged to a wood plaque.  The only "painting" I did was adding the copper highlights.

That clock is gorgeous. (And very clever with the hair hiding the boob - I wouldn't have noticed if it hadn't been pointed out!)

I received the BEST package today from Miss. Cellaneous!   She combined three things that I love: Amy Butler fabrics, the color red, and horses (I'm going to be working in an equine-only veterinary practice come July).  I LOVE IT!!!

As soon as I tore it open I had to lay it all out (and of course my kitty had to inspect):

This was the state of my wall before....an empty frame where a poster of a Monet had fallen out almost a year ago, and every attempt to put it back in has failed:

And here's my wall now!:

Thank you soooo much Miss. Cellaneous!  I absolutely LOVE it!  When I move, my whole living room is going to be centered around that!!

Thank you, craftydeb and QuiltersBlock for organizing this amazing swap!!
