Do ghost leave messages on your answering machine? If you answered yes to any of these questions then you came to the right swap.

The Hitchhiker’s Guide (The books, radio series, TV series, and movies.)

Just craft away, using inspiration from Douglas Adams, however far fetched it may be. Even send Douglas Adams media that your swap partner hasn’t experienced!

Seriously considering this one, although I might be a bit too busy on the swap front at the moment.

But... you forgot the old original infocom game of the HHGuide!  Smiley  My father is still proud of the fact that he managed to get the babelfish and beat the game without a hint book.  (I was probably all of about six at the time, but I remember playing with the peril-sensitive sunglasses and the "Don't Panic" button that came in the box)

But we have flamethrowers. And what this indicates to me, it means that at some point, some person said to himself, "Gee, I sure would like to set those people on fire over there. But I'm way too far away to get the job done. If only I had something that would throw flame on them."

Hmm, I would need feedback from my first swap before signing up... so if I decide I have the time to do this  Smiley annnnd if I get my feedback soon, I'll be in!

Sadly though, I only ever read Hitchhiker's and Salmon of Doubt, but that's enough, right?  Wink

I'm in the process of moving, but I definitely want to sign up for this swap. Frankly, I feel like I'm not as into Douglas Adams as i should be. I didn't know about a lot of his other stuff. I've only read The Hitch Hikers Guide to the Galaxy books, and the dirk Gently books. The HHG one's came in a huge book all together that my mom got as a gift a long time ago. I think it had a short piece about Zaphod at the end of it.

That's all I've ever read too. I don't know much about the t.v or radio shows.
I did find this online though- an online babel fish translator http://babelfish.altavista.com/babelfish. The babel fish is one of my favorite things from the H2G2 series.  I am going to sign up for this swap as soon as I finish two other swaps this week.

I think I'm going to sign up for this one. Frankly, I hope my partner likes towels. A Hitch Hikers Guide towel would rock! I think the nutritional supplements need to smell good. If I'm stranded with no food, I would at least like to suck on a tasty towel.
