I found this sweet iron-on @ Hobby Lobby (LOVE that store!^^), and was dumb and didn't pin it down and had the iron too hot. The result? A partially-scorched-didn't-even-come-on-all-the-way mess! What to do?! Sharpie marker to the rescue to finish what some of the iron-on didn't! I also drew over the wings so they would stand out more too. Yay, saved a tee from the dreaded "craft gone wrong box"  I guess it's true when they say there's no mistakes in crafting, only variations! Cheesy

The design up close. You can see where I drew over the more faded/missing parts

Here I am wearing the tee (the sharpie almost gives the design a 3-d look, no?)

Thanx!

What a great idea.  I love your tee.  It looks like those every-once-in-a-while you get  a perfect white tee..and now for the finale....... the great design!

that looks great! i love the design.  I've often thought about drawing on shirts with sharpies, but i've been worried that it would run! ... was their any bleeding?  will it fade in the wash?

Thanx! Sharpies are my fav choice of weapon for drawing on tees ^^
Sometimes the reg sharpies have ran or bled for me in the past, but if you start w/ small light strokes and stay close to the outline, it's turns out fine and you do get better and faster over time. I also would keep a piece of cardboard inside the shirt to prevent any possible bleeding
I used an ultra fine tip sharpie marker for this project and it didn't bleed @ all. It's great for detailing and outlining as well, def a good thing to have on hand.
Since I did use a permanent marker, it hasn't faded yet and it's been washed a lot. It won't come to the point of needing retouched for quite a while, if @ all.

I maintain that I'm actually not as creative as people think I am. I am merely very good at attempting to screw up and recovering at the last minute. As the case is, it's usually better than my original plan. Gotta love it.
