Stunning. especially the middle picture. You really captured raw emotion. Goodness, I love these.

I'm a portrait artist myself-what sort of materials are you using? are you using white chalk or pastel for the face paint, or are you just using the paper's colour?

these were drawn with black and white colored pencils on gray paper. i used a black pigment liner to add highlights. i am seriously obsessed with drawing on gray paper!
