After much gnashing of teeth, I wrested the second box from the postal service, yay! (apparently the regular mail carrier is on leave for a few weeks, the substitute wouldn't leave the package at my apartment but didn't leave a delivery notice either, then I was out of town, etc, but it is all good now, and I digress)
Ok! So prepare to be wowed by the fantabulous package that superhooker sent me!
Theme 1: cephalopods
Really cool diptych painting of a squid! I've got to take a pic of this with actual lighting, so you can see it better. He is going to live in my sea/beach themed room!
Squid technocozy, who can fit an ipod or cell phone. So cute!

Theme 3: snark/sarcasm
A mirror with a quote from Firefly - sandblasted on the back! How neat is that?
One of my favorite Farscape quotes, immortalized in cross-stitch (superhooker's first cross-stitch at that!)...I should put this one in my office, haha

Theme 4: Maryland/DC
Hope you can tell from the pic, a nifty knitted dishcloth with a silhouette of Maryland (which is a weirdly shaped state) and the state abbreviation!
Decoupaged coasters with maps of DC and Maryland - the neighborhood that I grew up in is on one of the coasters!
Gigantic marble magnets with images from Metro (the DC subway) and a pincushion jar with cross-stitch
Notecards with DC map cutouts and big dots
Plus a big photo album with DC metro map insert on the front!

Theme 5: the tropics
A giant project bag with knitted bottom, flower pins, and fun tropical lining - great for hauling my sewing stuff around on trips and backstage!
Pretty dyed rovings (that superhooker thought were not nice enough, but are really very nice) with an 'oceany' and 'sunrise' colors!
two fun dishcloths, one with a sun and the other with a daquiri complete with toothpick umbrella! (hope you can see the designs)
And last but not least, a totally adorable tropical beach bird hut with crabs, fish, and shells! Perfect for my porch!
