It's so crappy we're getting flakers on this swap. It was such a fun swap to do and get really "lost" in. I can't imagine how frustrating it must be to have put all that time and effort into your partner's themes....only to get no return of care back.  Cry

Anyway, sent a pm.

I love the stenciled blanket - and that "Jewelry box with "vanity" print" is sort of creepy how it goes from looking like a skull to looking like women talking - truly interesting piece! and your tatted spider web is not crappy!

That IS creepy! I crossed my eyes for the longest time and then finally one of their faces popped out and I could make out the rest. Way cool! Where did you get that image, lady4feet?

Thanks guys.

I love the print "Vanity" technically I think it's "all is vanity" but oh well it's by a artist named Gilbert from the turn of the century. I use to have a poster of it hanging in my room and it use to creep my mom out, lol. There are also other illustion prints that are pretty popular but not by Gilbert, you can see them here http://www.sandlotscience.com/Ambiguous/Vanity_Like_Images.htm

I like "Gossip" too.

I think I was just dissapointed in the spiderweb, the pic with the pattern I followed looks so much better. I was half way through with it and ripped it out cause I thought was doing something wrong since it looked so wonky but it still turned out that way oh well.

Yay!. I received from Tree27  Grin

Here are the goodies:

Trees (appropriate from somebody with that username, don't ya think?)

A tree stuffie

Glass jars, each etched with its own tree design and filled with tree colored craft supplies

Torchwood and Books

A blank book/scrapbook with a Torchwood cover and a set of bookmarks

Monsters

A monster blanket (which is officially my picnic blanket for the rest of the summer!) and a yarn monster

Ocean

A needle roll, some pearl/shell earrings, and ocean-themed stitch-markers:

Besides the really cool seashells there are also some charms like a seahorse etc. Now I just need to find a pattern that needs stitch-markers so I can show them off  Cheesy

Thanks Tree27!

So for awhile there it looked like I needed angels so I had some assigned and then my original partner came through. But in the interim, phoenixfiredesigns went ahead and made a killer angel package and was nice enough to send it off anyway, for which she is an absolute dear  Kiss

Anyway, here's what she did with the "Trees" theme:

A cardholder in a leafy green fabric:

A garnet Tree of Life pendant (which I've already worn...love it!):

A tree bookmark:

A leaf keychain (now affixed to my keychain):

A tree card:

And a pretty keepsake box with a picture of (I can't find the note now, but I think she called it) a banyon tree:

Thanks so much for going above and beyond with the angel package--I love everything!!
