I can't wait for spring!  In desperation for a little spring and color...I decided to take up embroidery again.  I made these over the last couple weeks.  You embroider the design on muslin and then place a small square of homespun batting on the back.  I folded over the edges and ironed them (to make it easier to sew). I sewed around the edges twice, once in white and the other in color.  Embellish as desired and hang to enjoy!
Sorry for the blurry pics, it's time for a new camera.

So..I decided to send these to my sister and thought I would show off my crazy cute packaging.  My BF is a graphic artist so he created a label for me.

My mother bought a bunch of old transfers in a random craft store she frequents.  It's an old Vogart pattern (Gay and Colorful BlueBirds for Every Day of the Week). * The pattern originally sold for $0.15.*

I cut out the images I wanted and discarded the days of the weeks.
