Knichole rocked my socks off yesterday!   After receiving one of her awesome knitted hats in the SSS, I asked her if we could do a personal swap because I had a froggie pattern in mind.  She did that for me and then some.

Check out everything she made:

2 awesome froggie hats w/matching scarf, cute bear, Skittles, 2 yummy heart shaped soaps, playdoh, and a wonderful card.
Plus her sons decorated my box with their artwork.  Very sweet!

And a wonderful surprise skirt for Lana!!

Lana loves her hat and skirt, can't you tell?

Thanks Knichole!!!  Everything was so perfect and made with such care!!  We love and appreciate all of your hard work.  Thank you!!!

My appologies for a late posting....I received these wonderful items a few weeks ago.

My wonderful friend Pawnshoppromises was in a terrible accident...thankfully she's ok now. This resulted in a long delay with our personal swap, but some things are worth the wait and this is definitely one of them.

She made Lana a hat, a sweater, and an adorable dragonfly.

Thank you Pawnshoppromises!!   Lana loves her new sweater, especially!  It really looks great on her!
I'll have to work on an action shot.

Yay, I got my package from MonkeyThumb!

Inside of that box was a pretty sculptured metal box with feet:

And inside that box was a lovely, dainty vintage embroidered flower, some clock faces, and a lock and key shape carved in goldstone! Outside of the metal box was a huge amount of embroidery thread, decorative beaded wire, a tiny German book with interesting images and paper, and a little Canadian maple leaf enameled dish. Plus a note on giraffe-paper, which was an added bonus.  Cheesy

Thanks so much for selecting all this great stuff from your stash for me!!  Grin

I'm living/working in Yosemite Nat'l Park til further notice! Blogging about it here. No swapping for me, and minimal crafting time, for the coming months. Graduated from library school! That sums things up for now.

I did a personal swap with babychel!  She wanted a particular crocheted scarf, and i told her I would make it for her...she was going to send a surprise!  and it is wonderful!!! Firstly, the main thing, this awesome pillow.  My kiddo loves it, so he wanted to be in the picture:

(his hair is really crazy in this picture!)

Next, babychel sent some really cute stuff from her etsy, a pin that is a begonia on a ravioli! super cute, also a knitting charm/pendant, and a skully charm/pendant:

And then there was a whole bunch of little treats, some pretty beads, some peices of shrinky dink plastic to make my own little charms, and what was originally going to be my main present, little racky!  She tried to sew me the raccoon pillow from my wist, but he wasnt working out.  She sent racky, and all of his leftover fabric.  Also sent, but not in the picture, a CD from her hubbys band...its in the car CD player!

Thanks babychel!  I'm getting ready for our next personal!!!

I also did a personal with AsphaltQueen...for a jar of whimsies!  I didn't have a spot open to join the swap, so she agreed to swap with me...and man...I'm blown away!!!! Here's the jar, and the cute fabric it was wrapped in:

A crocheted flower that was in there, I like it so much, it is now on my inspiration board!!

and this cutie frog was in it too, and he now lives on my monitor:

Its hard to get a picture of the littler stuff, but everything is awesome!  I got a little tin with all sorts of watch parts, a phone/mp3 holder with a little pawprint button(!!), and a whole big bunch of charms and ribbons and various other awesomeness!  Thanks so much, AsphaltQueen!  You rock!!!

hehe, I know!  My faith in the personal swap has been restored!  I did a whole bunch last May, and got flaked on 4 times in one month, so I've been personal swap shy for a while.  I'm sooooo glad I did these, though!!!

Flakers bite!

I'm so glad you liked everything Superhooker!  I had so much fun with our swap and can't wait for the next one!

Here is the most beautiful-soft-cuddly-oodly-ooo Hyperbolic crocheted scarf.  It's made with Lion Homespun in one of my favorite shades of Green, almost Craftster Green.  Look how it matches the (blurry) bag I picked up at Tarjay a few weeks ago!  (covering my non-make-up'd face!)

And we did a little bead swap too last minute!

Thanks again Superhooker - you really are a Super Hooker!  Looking forward to putting together your next swap package!!!
