Okay, so it's been kind of a rough week, and I totally spaced on a few other pieces from my package! Along with all the other market goodness, Oneredboot also sent some basil seeds with starter containers! I tried to take pictures with the computer (didn't work) but I guess I left them across the room when I took the other pictures with my camera D'OH! Without further ado, the final pieces of Oneredboot's lovely package:

I love the bag and the hat.

I have finally received from anastrophe (after much confusion with the post office).  I absolutely love my package.  These are instructions for the farmers market.

First to have money ready to spend, this is my fabulous wallet.  I forgot to take a picture of it open, but it opens up and there is a place for change.  I love tomatoes.


Second I need to pick my veggies, pay for them, and take them home in my beautiful cute new bag.


Third, cook with them with my fabulous new cookbook with some recipes included and space to write in more.


And as a bonus, some seeds to plant in my new garden:


I really love it all and I can't wait to start using it.

A "what can I make with this?" cookbook - so everything is organized by ingredients? That is brilliant for the farmer's market!

Little potted gardens - that looks like a great book for tiny apartments. The bag is really cool too.

Both packages are really awesome.  I love that whole foods sign bag.  It is so cool to see refurbished stuff like that.  I don't know if anyone else like myself gets the Craft magazine but in the latest issue (I just got it the other day) they had a how-to on herb gardens in plastic containers.  Such good timing since auntiem sent me seeds for plants that will work very well in plastic containers.

Auntiem said she needed a bag that she could roll up and place in her pocket or purse so I knew I had to make something I could roll up or zip up into something.  I placed it next to the cookbook to show how compact it becomes.

This was a really fun swap and I have a feeling that auntiem will receive a nice little surprise in a few weeks because her package was just that awesome hehe.

I used the bag on the way home and ran into a sewing friend of mine. He was impressed that you did French seams and thought the fabric was perfect for me (which it is ). Not very farmer's markety, but the bag does hold 2 2ltrs of coke and a bottle of rum very comfortably.
My SO's already bookmarked some dishes in the cookbook. I see baking in my future.
