I used to have a choker made from rubber grasshoppers. I wore it to punk shows in San Diego. People always had somethings to say about, mostly good. There was also a phase i went through that I was in love with anything glow in the dark. I had these clear plastic shoes, looked kinda like mens dress shoes they had black two and heel but clear in the middle. They had glow in the dark soles. Well on a trip to vegas I found glow in the dark cockroaches, I made shoe lace holders and earrings and buttoncovers out of them. come to think of it I've always had an odd sense of what can be jewelry. (currently working on X-Men mighty beans bracelet) lol, Great Job! We should do a bug jewelry trade, that'd be awsome. oh and welcome!

After I have been here a month, I would love to do a bug jewelry trade:)

Love your polymer maggot... would be very cool to wear near Halloween!  In fact, I'm going to add your description of making it to my website on the Halloween page  Grin

There are probably people in the science field who would love it too!  Another person had said this (about making greatly enlarged and disgusting things)...

"Once he and I made some pinworms from clay for a "joke" presentation to a research doc. The doc loved them so much they hang right next to his Nobel Prize!!! syndee"

And some other clayers who work in the science field said things like various micro-organisms were very popular as jewerly, pens, etc.  Grin

you know, you could totally do it...you could always adapt a pattern for beaded berries (you can find these by googling for French beaded flowers patterns) and elongate them to look like cute twisty lil maggots. Cheesy

I think the human embyro is an awsome idea. But then I've always been fascinated by medical text books. When I was pregnant I oozed over images of human devolpment becuae i was so curious about what exactly was going on inside of me. My SO would come and I'd say, "guess what?, the baby grew her liver today" SO thought the hormones had gone to my head and I had lost it. But still I'd love to see something done with human embyro. great idea

Both of my parents are biologists so I have been resed with medical and biology  books so things like that are not gross for me, just interesting. And older drawings are extremely well done.  I realize that human could hurt some people filings especially in Catholic country with abortion problem. But I can use a different anima ;Dl.

lilgothkatt I think your approach to pregnancy is great.  As if pregnancy was 9 months long first day in school and you where with your Little one  (Sorry it sounds strange in English).
