Clay bride - my first attempt

I promised my friend to make a cake topper for her. As a newbie to polymer clay, I am making a trial bride just to see. I had a lot of fun! I rolled strands to make the hair. Added a few crystals to the hair and found a little string of pearls "ribbon" sitting at home to give my bride a necklace. All comment comments are welcomed so I can make a good cake topper for my friend. Thanks in advance!!

Question: Do you know if colours for fimo / sculpey stays for a long time?

fimo colors are permanent. I have things that are 20 years old as brightly colored as if they were made today. I've even hung pieces in teh window and they didn't fade.

Oh, and don't use sculpey, it's just not as strong as the other clays and you want this to last!!
