OK, so we moved in 2 years ago...but well...uh..the master bedroom hasn't seen much work since we painted the walls...
so...here are some pics, its been cleaned up since...btw

and I NEED ideas!! Its going to be blue and brown...so far I have..nothing! Ok a couple little things, but I need ideas ladies and gentlemen, i need all art ideas, pillows, bedding, etc. (I've got curtains handled, thank you:-)

The cheaper the better, you know how that goes ;-)

Oh and those curtains totally not my taste and not staying..my mom made them, bless her heart, but I'm not 17 anymore, I'm 25 and my husband lives in here too you know :-)

i think stripes are the way to go with this room Smiley
pick up:
  • brown, blue and white striped fabric for curtains, 2 pillow cases, a table mat and a 3 foot wide runner for the foot of the bed
  • white muslim to back the curtains
  • brown or blue comforter
  • blue or brown sheets (which ever one the comforter isnt
  • blue or brown fabric (same color as comfertor
  • plywood
  • fluffy filling
  • 1 blue pillow case
  • 1 brown pillow case
  • 1 white pillow case
  • 2 blue floor or chair pillows
  • wood for shelfs
  • wood for a laundry basket cupboard
  • a wood stainer that matches the doors
  • cheap circular walmart lights with power cords and an on/off stitch near the bulb
  • fake blue and white flowers
  • brown vase

1.obviously the sheets and pilliows and the bed runner go on the bed
2. sew together the stripes and muslim to make curtains
3. cut shelves to fit over the head area of the bed and stain them. install lights in the bottom shelf.
4. cut out pieces of wood to make a cupboard big enough for plastic boxes and laundry baskets. stain them. put together and place near door.
5. make a striped table mat. put on white table. place blue floor pillows under table. put brown vase ontop of mat. fill vase with blue and white fake flowers
6. make a hangable head - cut ply wood to fit above bed and under last shelf, cover wood in filler and comforter colored fabric, nail gun fabric and filler on, make buttons with stripe fabric. sew onto head board to look uppolstered. attach just below the lowest shelf.
