halloooo!  It's been awhile, my dear craftster...I need a virtual kick in my creative pants as I haven't made anything for a long long time...this is something I made a last year in the summer, and only now decided to post.  Sure, I just moved and my sewing room is in shambles, but that's no excuse!

So anyway.  It's got a "hidden" pocket on the front there, which serves no really good purpose as I'm sure stuff probably falls out of it.  But I think it looks cute!  The back is the same as the front, only with no pocket.  There's a pocket on the inside which I put on an angle as I thought it went well with the crazy v-neck-ness of it all.  The strap tapers on one end, and I sewed it onto one end with a button.  I made the pattern myself, but I got some inspiration from a bag here on craftster!

whatcha think?  I think perhaps the fabric combinations are a little too "mature" for me, as I'm kind of a silly girl...but I still luvs it...

I can tell you, Fall is composed of

1 part dead fish smell
1 part wet leaves
1 part arctic chilled air (not winter chilled variety)
2 parts crunchy walking
a pinch very cold rain
some apples you picked yourself
a few very still moments
a good deal of inner reflection

I think this is a great twist on a simple, practical bag.  I like the colors, but if you don't, the flower print might look good with a nice brown next time  Cheesy

oooh, thanks everyone!!  Perhaps I'll post a tute if I end up making another one for myself.  At the very least I'll post the pattern pieces I used.  Although I think I might have to make new ones...I think I might've thrown them away...
