This is an N for Nancy ;P  I did this one with traditional piecing and this time the velvet and woven pieces were a lot harder to work with.  I think for the next take I might require cotton unless I was the only one that thought this was difficult ....

For kiden!

paper pieced.  i'm not sure why it looks wrinkly on the top right block, it does lie flat in person.

oh that is AWESOME...imma make a heart block now...i LOVE hearts

and some more from me!

kiden2: i hope its not to plain for you

BertaBerta: i designed the block myself, i really like the way it ended up, i hope you do too

ChristianTrekki: It is a little wonky, you have to stretch it to make it *go* but it was the best i could do with the velvet...it does come to 12.5 VERY easily though (its only about 1/4 inch off)

Very neat corners in your block for Kiden, impressive!

I think your design for Berta's block is lovely!

All in all, gorgeous Shocked

I can't wait until someone gets a few of the blocks back and can take a group shot of them.

MissDisney: I really like the blocks you did!  The one for kiden2 is my favorite!

Athenamat: Awesome block for kiden2!  Love the heart.

Kiden2: your blocks have consistently rocked!  I really like the one for majesticdanayay!

I haven't used the velvet blocks yet.  I'm a little worried...

I forgot one.  This is for lukenlarry... I used a lot of my own fabric, so I hope she likes it.
