Hi Hi...

I'm in my first semester as an art major... and this is the first project i've done that i've actually been proud of, so of course i had to show it off. my only regret was that in order to construct it, i hd to install it in my dirty art room. so the pictures aren't great but... you get the idea. enjoy  Wink

Awesome!  I like the striped pieces thrown in here and there.

Oh, it's just kittens.

I want to leave this world the way I came into it:  naked, screaming, and covered in someone else's blood.

Absolutely beautiful! Who knew that cardboard (That's what it's made of, right?) could look so majestic?

thanks everybody. during class its critique time, so often we only hear what needs to be improved, so its nice to just get appreciation. especially since it is now sitting in a dumpster somewhere ::tear::

i made it by first creating a flexible "spine" which you can see on the pictures of the underside which are just pieces tied together with yarn. then it got hung up from the lights, and then all the little feathers were hot glued on. the hardest part was actually getting it to hang in the shape i wanted it to.

i took up most of the free space in my classroom, so i think i annoyed most of my classmates buuuuut... first come first serve, right? lol. i liked it so much, i think i may use it as inspiration for an apartment decoration
