ok so when i asked everyone on craftster what they thought of the hamptons(in new york) i kept getting back the same answer, beaches. so i said ok i have to do something involving the beach. i went to the beach found these colors and was like damn i need to make a blanket. soooooooo... this blanket represents the sunrise at the beach in the hamptons. o0o btw sorry i don't have any in proggress shots, it was hard enough to get a camra from my friend as it is.

ok so the entire time i was making this blanket my son wantted it to cuddle with. i kept feeling really bad when i had to tell him know and take it away, but know that he is aloud to have it he is so happy. this blanket is now the most popular item in the house, my husbands actually sleeping with it right now.lol.

ok so this is a full pic of the blanket.

anoher almost full shot.

this is a close up.

thanx for looking. questions and comments very welcome. Grin

Love the blanket and LOVE the baby!!!  How old is he?  My youngest just turned 12 weeks.   Cheesy  I started crocheting him a blanket at 5 weeks, but I haven't worked on it for a bit.  I *should* try to finish it before he turns 1!   Grin

my son is 5months old. he kept wantting the blanket before it was done, he would crawl over to me and try and take it, lol. i think it's the yellow.

the multicolor is called banana berry, the blue is royal blue and i'm not sure about the gold and the green cuz i through those little thingys away and make the skein into a ball as soon as i get the yarn. but there just your average go to wal-mart yarn.
