Reppin' Salt Lake City, Utah. 

Salt Lake was once home to an ill-fated leisure resort called the Great Saltair, built in 1893.  Originally designed as a seaside-style resort, it had swimming, rides, roller skating, and dances.  The resort burned several times, floundered during the war, and was eventually abandoned.  It has since been remade as a concert venue, but it has never recaptured its former glory.  I adore the Moorish architecture and driving by it always makes me think retro glamorous thoughts.  More recently, for some reason, it makes me think of that episode of "Torchwood"  when the Jack Harknesses meet.  And make out.  And that makes me happy.

They're photos sealed on glass beads.  I originally developed the technique for my Etsy shop and Saltair fit the look really well.

Cool.  I have a thing for old resorts, hospitals, and amusement parks and abandoned buildings.  I don't know why, but I love them.
