So I finally had some free time to participate in one of these challenges, but then when I saw the topic of it I thought "Awwwww nooooo, I hate my hometown!"
But I thought up this idea 2 days before the deadline, which is why its so late, and I sewed my poor fingers off.

My hometown of Newtown, Connecticut has nothing worth crafting about.  Nothing that sparks the imagination.
I spent 18 years of my life there just waiting to leave, and ran out the door to Massachusetts for college as soon as I got the chance.  It's full of mostly yuppies, since my county, Fairfield County, is the sixth richest county in all of america currently.  I think at one point it used to be number two.
To get an idea of how ridiculously spoiled some of the kids were in my town... a girl once totalled her brand new mustang, and in a week was driving an entirely new one.  And that wasn't unheard of in my town at all.  Unfortunately, I had to be the kid who was still taking the bus all through my senior year... haha!

So, my submission is less of a homeage to my hometown, and more of a hate... age?  Maybe I wouldn't go that far.

Without further ado, I introduce, the consumer of imagination, the lover of cold hard cash, the buyer of useless crap!

Okay, before you say to yourself "Are those christmas trees?"  They're not, haha.  I decided, at the risk of sounding like a pessimistic yuppie-hating jerk, I'd add something I did like about my town.  Every summer fireflies would come in swarms around my house, ridiculous amounts of fireflies, and it made all the trees sparkle and look like christmas trees.  My friends would gather at my house and we'd chase them and hold them, no matter what age we were.

and some closeups of him

Sweatervest, a Rolex, cash monayyy, mouth bleeding devouring imaginations, hungry for more!

Wow this is probably the funniest one yet!  Cheesy Very creative and imaginative!

Lol, I come from one of the poorest states in the Union, but the townspeople in my town are rich for some reason... and I went to a private school since the choice was either a really bad free education or a good education for a hefty price and a way to get into college. So... yeah..... preps every freaking where.  Tongue
