Thanks for all the responses guys! I've uploaded some more photos for you guys:

Here is my dress, it's not this white/blueish but the light came out weird and I'm too lazy to fix it in photoshop.

A back view so you can see the train & lacings.

Also here is my engagement-slash-wedding ring:

As you can see it fits perfectly atop the canadian penny. He bought the smallest ring he could find, which was a 6, and we had to get it resized down to a four. You can't even tell where they altered the ring, I think they may just have added a new band.

Beautiful job though.

*gasp*  I ADORE the top of your wedding dress (well, I love the whole thing, but the top is gorrrgeous)!

My band is the same way!  He explained it to me and the temperature it had to be heated to in order to get it to completely hide the marking, but I was only half-listening.  I was too busy trying on the ring and gazing at the sparkles. Cheesy

What shoes will you wear?

...I'm such a weddingholic. Cheesy

I'm not sure yet, I know I'm definetly going to wear flats though. I get SO sore in heels after just a few hours. I saw someone had posted their wedding shoes and they looked like they were lace stretched over a wire & leather frame or something.. Hard to describe, but cool looking. That or just taking some ballet flats and putting nice fabric over them maybe?

If anyone knows what I'm talking about do post links. I could use the extra ideas! ^^

Hey!  Just letting you know that when I've made the roses for people in the past (weddings and such), I'd sometimes spritz them in a lovely perfume or put a cotton ball soaked in the incence oil in the bouquet.  I think they would be lovely as your wedding bouquet.  Smiley

I might try that perfume idea.. I still think I might try storing my filters with scented soaps, though. Everyone thinks it's a weird idea, but that's never stopped me before. Also I've now decided I'm definetly doing a paper bouquet. They'll never wilt, and I'll be far more proud of something handmade anyway.

Anyhow, more of the promised photos! I am now using:

1. Wilton Dyes (like the stuff you can buy in wedding shops for dying icing) which is gorgeously bright, but alas some of the colors change after painting. I'll be using this in moderation for some of my roses now, but I think I'll be mostly using easter egg dye for the decorations.

2. Watercolor paints.. Really, in texture it's just a high class tempra paint, but it gets the job done.

3. Easter Egg Dye. I love it to bits, it's easy to use and much faster than either of the first two.

Now for the photos:

Argh! For some reason it won't let me upload photos more photos.. it says it's uploading but they don't show up in my gallery. Anyone know what's going on? I was unaware there was a limit.. It actually *says* I have no limit, when I go to upload.. Will post more photos if someone can help me. x)

Pretty photo!

Each photo has to be 2MB or smaller.  Shrink your photos in size a bit before uploading. Smiley

Oh, okay. I've been transferring them straight off the card and it seemed to shrink them automatically so I didn't think about it, but the added colors might affect the size come to think of it. Lord, and I use photoshop for a living. Durr. More photos coming shortly x) thanks!

Good grief!!! One can't even go to sleep here.  I wake up and see this.  Wow.  First, I'm glad you made a sep. post for your crafty wedding.  Second---that dress!!! Incredible. Beautiful. Looks like the perfect dress for what you're planning.  I'm getting too kitchie here...too early in the morning for me.lol.I can't wait for you to resize those pics. btw, when I use the Wilton paste colors, they are very strong, but then I've only used them on cakes.  Got your cake in mind yet? That is also very doable (is that a word?) and be done days before the cerimony(perferably not by you cause of the time element) Wink

Here's my jar of roses thus far: I'm really running out of space in this jar now so some of them are a little squished together.

These were done by one of my lovely bridesmaids, who is getting married in July and she wanted to try to make some roses for her hair and has been experimenting in different colors:
