Hey everyone!  I'm a little nervous about this because it's my first challenge. And also my first time making up my own pattern! WOOHOO!!  Grin  
Horace is representing Jackson, Michigan.  It is the birthplace of the Republican Party.   His name is Horace because a man named Horace bought 160 acres for $2 an acre in 1829 and named it Jacksonopolis.



Here is Horace visiting the historical Michigan Theatre in downtown Jackson.


Here he is on the 11th floor of the building that I work in looking over part of the city.

This is the county building...

And me and my friend Horace...

Thanks everyone!  My friend from work and I had a lot of fun trying to think of places that Horace needs to visit.
 
I love him!  I would like to make one of these for my Dad, he's a big Republican. 

I'll try to write up the pattern later this weekend if you are interested.

I'm going to get some more pics of him around town when I get a chance, my batteries died yesterday.. grrr..
