$20?!
I usually pay like $5 for 250 of the free premium cards, and occasionally, I'll order the 500, but usually I just order 250 at once, it's cheaper that way (and I'm all about saving money!)
if you sign up for their newsletter, you get alot of emails, but alot of offers for freebies,
it's the only reason I'm doing postcards too!
I'd buy biz cards elsewhere, but they're so expensive everywhere else, especially shipping.. which is silly...
and I prefer only having a few (2-400) as I do change my designs so much!

haha I think the most that I've ever paid for anything from vistaprint was about 3 dollars. I pay to get their logo erased off my business cards.
Last time I ordered, everything was free but they charged me over $20 shipping. I guess they had to stick it to me for carefully plotting my plan of attack and get the most free stuff possible. I got a shirt that said 'i <3 ohthatashley.etsy.c om' that I make my boyfriend wear, I got pens that say the same thing that I use at school all the time, I got mini calendars, I got postcards, I got it all! for freeeeeee.

oh I don't pay for the cards, I get those for free (via their promotional emails) & the shipping is like $5, usually takes 2.5-3 weeks, about $9 to get them in 1.5-2 weeks, which is usually what I'll do if I'm super close to out..I also only get the matte, as it's hard to write on the glossy..

though, I've been going through them so fast, i may just grab the 1000, which when I click through from a promo email, the 1000 is only $20 + $11 to get them in 2 weeks..
$30 for 1000 cards seems good to me  Wink

Hmm, I paid about $20 (incl. shipping) for 250 from GotPrint, which is quite a bit more expensive in comparison--but I do LOVE the cards, they're glossy and lovely, and there's been quite a bit on the Etsy forums re: bad experiences with VistaPrint, so I wanted to try something different. (Plus, beats hand-printing and cutting card stock, which was my previous lo-fi solution--which I actually loved the product of, but took too much time!)

Vista print has a terrible rating with Better Business Bureaus.. But a lot of large companies do if you check it out. :/
On the more positive side I signed up for this swap so .. yay!

I've only ever had one problem with vistaprint,
the little pocket stamp I ordered from them had the numbers of my addy mixed up,
they replaced it, but they fudged it again,
they were willing to replace it again, but I just said screw it.

When it comes to biz cards(and addy labels) though, they've never screwed up, or sent majorly late (at least in my experience)

beats hand-printing and cutting card stock, which was my previous lo-fi solution--which I actually loved the product of, but took too much time!

I used to do that too, and yah, I'd spend close to a week making enough to last a month!

So, one more day for the last of the stragglers, and unless another 5+ people sign up, I think you all were willing to send to everyone else Smiley

Last time it was senders choice, the more you send, the more exposure you get, so it all depends on you.  Grin

Opps! I did mean to put that!

Some people are able to send alot, some aren't, so send what you will, and as squidget said,
the more you send, the more exposure you get, so it all depends on you.  Grin

Depending on what things I get in time, I'll probably be sending 20-30 biz cards each (if not more), as well as a few other things Smiley
