I received from SampsonsLynnie today, what a great package!  YAY!
She sent an apron, cookbook, embroidered napkins, crayons, tea, crocheted scrubbie.

Apparently the PO thought it was great too and tried to peek inside...

Shot of everything (my son has very grabby hands, he was going for the crayons in the bag, he didn't know what was in there but he knew it was going to be his...)  (oh I forgot about the fabric under the cookbook, it's what everything was wrapped up in, but now I get to use it to make something, yay!)

Inside of the cookbook, just one page (she sent a bunch of family recipes), she sents LOTS more cards so I can fill in more of my own recipes

Napkins, embroidered with the Sublime Stitching Kurt Halsey (I hope I spelled that right) patterns (I need to buy these, they are TOO cute, I've had them on my wishlist for ages)

Crayons and scubbies... handmade/recycled crayons, lots of colors, so great and the scrubbie is awesome, maybe I will actually wash some dishes by hand now Wink

Action shot of my son using the crayons, he was telling me the colors as he was trying each one out (I promise that while he may not be wearing pants he does have a diaper on)

Apron on me, it's so girly, and ruffly, and I LOVE LOVE LOVE it, I need an excuse to bake ASAP. (sorry no real action shot, my husband is not a big fan of me bugging him while he's "working" in his home office to take pictures for me, so they always turn out bad)

So glad you liked everything! Grin I always get nervous about that! The scrubbies works great on counters and stoves too, if you don't want to use it for hand dishes. Wink it shouldn't scratch.

Let me know if you have any questions about the recipies! Its the first time any of them have been written down!

What a cute package!
I love the apron and napkins!

Cheesy The grabby hand in the shot is so funny; it is just what my little ones do everytime I get a package.

Thanks, I made it Wink

This is the exact reason I just signed up for the Craft for my Kid swap so he will be getting a package of his own (since I have been doing a lot of swapping lately and he feels left out, though everyone always is so nice about sending him a little something)...

I love that apron!!  I may have to try one like that.  I have made a million aprons but never one with ruffles like that.  Great package!!

I think the crayons were the most fun to make! I used to host coloring nights at my dorm when I was at KU, so I have lots of little crayon stubs! Wink

Its so cool to see everyones crafty things in their new homes! Grin

I got Maiziemama's parcel!
Firstly a kitchen aid cover and matching oven gloves:

which fits my mixer perfectly (sorry about the messy countertop there!) and the gloves will replace the ancient ones that don't match!
A lovely dishcloth, plus some fridge magnets (the magnets got detached so I'll reglue them) and loads of sweeties that have already been polished off (blame DS3 for that!)

I am now SO desperate for my parcel to get to her! I can't believe it is taking so long - and although I can probably remake most of it (I still have the materials) the 2 bigger items were pretty unique and the extra bought item is no longer in stock Sad

I've had the mountain blues lately since I'm such a city girl, but when I opened my door this morning,
I had two wonderful packages from bigfatroses which cheered me right up!  Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy

I couldn't believe my eyes when I opened my packages, she spoiled me so badly that I felt guilty!  Embarrassed Embarrassed

I have quite a few pics to share...

First off there was this lovely sign, which I cannot wait to hang! (funny, I was planning to paint this quote on the wall!)  bigfatroses did such a great job on the font! I love it! (DD is putting a button on there...)

Then my sweet little recipe box, I needed this so bad! I already put my recipe cards in!

A view from inside, I love the Hello Kitty under the lid, she makes me smile!

DD claiming whatever she can grab...

All of my wonderful extra goodies!

I was totally shocked when I saw this, a Deery Lou Purse! What did I do to deserve this?  Cheesy

DD approves of her Hello Kitty Candy Lipstick!

Thank you so much again bigfatroses, you are spectacular!!!  You have succeeded in blowing me away!
