Y'know how sometimes you go to pick your parcel up at the post office and your heart just sinks.

Coz it came in a box that's at least 4 times the size of the one you sent out?

And then you think "Hang on here... it's cool, it's cool - what you do is 'collapsible' and 'easily squished into small boxes' sort of craft. Maybe the box contains large and unsquishable items"

And then you open it up to discover, that sure there's a few large and unsquishable items, but the rest are all completely and utterly squishable and yet filled up the rest of the box.

I suck.

BUT! ZOMG I LURVE what I've received. Pics to come as soon as I've finished the other stuff I have to do today.

That one item wouldn't fit in a smaller box, it just looked big, lol. I'm sure I'm going to love your box, soooo excitied!

I wanted to add some other photos of the items that mommythemaid sent to me.  I meant to do this earlier this week but my hubby took that camera and i had to wait till he came home to tell me where he put it.

First there is my new apron.  Hubby asked if I was actually going to cook in it cause it seemed to be a shame to get it yucky and dirty.  We agreed that I could use it to bake in!!  It is to pretty to mess up!!

And my adoreable new wallhanging!!  This is not its new home.  We are moving in a couple of months (moving out west) so im saving my new stuff for my new home.  I dont want it somehow messed up between now and then!!  It has a really cute embroidered apron in the middle!!

New potholders that match the apron!!

Trivets, napkins with beaded holders, a wall hook for my potholders and some really pretty lilac candles

I do thank you so much for my items and again apologize for being so late getting yours to you.  I hope you have recieved it and were happy with your items.

<b>Like what you see here??  It might be in my shop!!<b>

<b>I wist!! Lets do a personal swap!!!<b>

I love the apron you made mommythemaid. Did you use a pattern?

Thanks!  I love making aprons.

I used the top pattern pieces from a Simplicity pattern but made my own belt, ties, and bottom so it would be more full and frilly.

Seaofstars got her package from me a little while ago, but she's been under the weather and hasn't gotten to take pictures yet. So here are the shots I took before I sent out her package.

It's about time I posted these:

First up: I have napkin rings. I've never ever before had napkin rings. I feel like a homemaker now. Kiwie-Chickie also included a knotted and beaded necklace for me which is AWESOME. They're both sitting on my new potholder which is in front of my new recipe book. Now THAT is an awesome idea. I don't cook much, because I lack inspiration - and now I can keep the yummy meal ideas in this book, and hopefully have a better diet.

Here we have my napery - in PERFECT COLOURS! I can't emphasise this enough - I looked at them and went... oh yeah. There's 3 or 4 tea towels and a bunch of napkins as well. This is some good stuff!! Kiwi-Chickie also included a bag she'd made out of the remnants, which is coming to the supermarket with me now for shopping with.

Thank you so so so much!!!! I loves it all.
