I received from jungrrl, and I am just in awe over the goodies she sent!  I asked for items to be made for my daughter, who LOVES anything octopus, and my partner came through like a rock star, and made a beautiful tote bag for me, which is going to be used tomorrow!!!!!

Here are the pics!

Here's what greeted me when I opened the box  Grin

Big octo- DD holding him up, so you can see how large this guy is!

Look at his eyes!  DD poked them- she's an octo bully  Grin

Crayon roll Smiley

And with crayons in it (to be used tomorrow as well since DD has a doc appt)

All rolled up, and DD loves it already!

And the tote bag, and I'm in LOVE with the pink, by the way!!!!!

jungrrl- Thank you!  Thank you!  Thank you!

You are very talented, and I'm lucky to have had you be my partner!!

xx_Kellybean- thank you for hosting this swap!  We should all do something nice for you  Wink

now THAT's an octopus! that thing is as tall as myself (I'm not very tall though).  Smiley

edit: oh, in the first photo I thought it was an adult woman holding it, not a little girl. I'm taller than the octo then. but not much.

So far, he's nameless!  LOL!

Well, he's nearly as tall as my DD which makes him half the size of me, so he really is a big guy!

I have the tote loaded up and ready to go for tomorrow!  I'm sure I'm going to get loads of comments about it!  Smiley  Especially since DD's doc's office is all done up in sea life motifs!   Grin

I really hope that what I sent you is ok.  I've been all up in knots worried that I didn't do a good job, especially after seeing everything you made.   I know I sent smaller things, and now I wish I hadn't.   Undecided

Ok, so the PO tried to deliver my package on Friday, but I was at work (duh).  So I assumed they'd just try again on Saturday or today, right? Wrong.  Roll Eyes I called and they told me I had to pick it up! So luckily I was off of work today so I ran over there.

Bigfatroses says she was/is super nervous about her package and I'm here to say, she's certifiable.  Cheesy  She sent so much awesome stuff!  (I would never have known you were trying a lot of these crafts for the first time!)  Honestly, I love everything!  So ok, pictures of the octo bounty. (My apologies if they're not the best quality, I was in a hurry to show off!)

First, the whole shebang (minus a necklace that I immediately put on..)

(There's a cool octo print out and some awesome fabric in there!)

The necklace (It's ink! Wink)

I will definitely be wearing this a LOT.

The absolutely adorable hexapus!

sooooo cute! Felix has since given his approval.

An awesome octo mug! I love interesting coffee cups!!  A beaded wire candle holder which had to have taken ages.  It's so awesome.  And a suncatcher that lil' roses did! awww!!

(Close up of the bead/wire work)

An amazing trinket box

with this super cool clay octo inside!

I don't know if you can tell but he's even got tentacles and eyes carved out!!

And even though I love everything else, I SUPER love this!

A metal sculpted octo!! He's soooooooooo awesome!  I didn't tell her this but I really love metal stuff! My family's business revolves around making things out of metal, so I'm partial to this.  It's really great and definitely fitting for the jungrrl household!

Bigfatroses, you had NOTHING to worry about! I honestly love everything and you did a wonderful job on it all!!   Kiss Kiss KissGrin Grin Grin
