I got my second swap package in the mail today!!! I am soooo excited, thanks Mirchita!!! I thought I was excited about the food, I was not prepared for the awesome package that the postman handed me today. (He's such a nice guy, ha ha. There's been a lot of mail here lately!!) I loved EVERYTHING, and I can't wait to try out some of the recipes in the magazine (especialamente los postres!! Mmmm... I just hope I can find all the ingredients, which I will even if I have to order some off the internet!!)

Maracas and an adorable hat!

My son immediately loved the maracas. They are much nicer than the little plastic ones we bought for him. He had a great time shaking them and hitting his father on the head with them. It was pretty hilarious. He tried to eat the hat though! Everything he gets his hands on lately gets chewed on, yay for teeth coming in.

A Picture of All the Stuff

I cannot tell you how excited I was when I saw all of this. Not to mention how wonderful it was to have a letter written entirely in Spanish, I always feel so accomplished when I can actually understand something in Spanish, it's great. I am also so happy everything made it without getting broken in transit, the box was a little messed up.

A few close-ups of various things

Muchas gracias por "Como agua para chocolate" es un libro que quise leer por muchos anos.

Finally a picture of all the lovely fabrics

Mi favorito es la tela amarilla es muy bonita.

Y nuevamente MUCHAS GRACIAS Mirchita.

I received a wonderful package from lucyvanpelt today, no photos yet though. The batteries went conveniently dead when I tried to take some, it will take a while to load them. The first time lucyvanpelt sent the package it got returned to her for no good reason and once she re-sent, it got here in under a week! Thank you, so much for the package!  Kiss

Hehe:) I know what you mean... did it fit?Smiley Ive never knitted such a cold sweater before, the temperature in Norway doesnt always allow those cute knitted sweaters, mostly wool is required to stay warm!
 Smiley

I feel so bad - it's been a rough couple of weeks and I haven't had a chance to post pics of the awesome swap package javede sent from Germany.  I love everything and I'll try to get pics up tomorrow!

I am happy you understood it!!! and lucky that everything made it safe to your place, the poor box looked messed up because it was the same that Ryoruki used to send their stuff to me  Grin sorry, but when I was up to send it, her package came, and the box, just fitted exactly to your package... hahahaha poor little box!!!

you have nothing to thank for, it was a pleasure to shop for you and your precious son!!!

GREAT SWAP BY THE WAY!!!

Ok, here's the awesome stuff I got from javede - it was a cool mix of German and Indonesian stuff...

2 big pieces of beautiful fabric, ribbon, German chocolates, postcards, playing cards, a cell phone charm from Singapore, and a little book about a whale (I asked for an oceany book in German)

THANKS again!!,
