Oh, that's a pity that you can't send food from Mexico to Canada! From Germany I just know that I can't send homemade food abroad.

And I got my lovely package from octopusincclothing from the USA!
It got some wonderfull things, take a look at the group shot:

There's a crochet magazine of which I don't yet have any issues! Some nice things to crochet inside and I just love hording these craft magazines anyway  Cheesy
She also send some fun stickers, Hello Kitty letter set and postcards! I think I need to come up with another idea for my postcard collection soon  Grin
And best of all, she also send me some soft-cuddly yarn that was on my list! I have an amigurumi book that asks for this yarn and it will sure be turned into one little cute animal sooner or later  Wink Oh, and then there's fabrics too, which will become either a pillow or a bag for my little cousine.
Here's a close-up of the fabric:

Thank you very much for everything you send me octopusincclothing!  Kiss

OH MY GOD, that dog fabric is waaay cute:D We dont get fabrics like that in Norway! I LOVE IT! youre one lucky girl;)

Urgh, sorry about that. I swear it was legal though! It was an audiobook from audible.co.uk, that I thought was quintessentially english, called 'the uncommon reader', by Alan Bennet. I can't prove it's not illegal though, so no pictures I guess.

Angry grrr.. sometimes I really hate the postal service around here. I live in the middle of nowehere upstate NY, and of course the post office doesn't have the international flat rate shipping boxes actually there so I had to order them. Which I did, about a week ago. Now, I get an email today saying that they finally shipped and I should receive them in a week!?!?!?!?! WHAT??? It said when I ordered I would have them in a week, not it would take a week just to process my request. I am gonna go to the post office today and see what boxes they have and see what I can cram into what they have there, and if not I am going to go to the post office in the next town over, cause that's just cutting it way too close to the cut off date that I need to send by.. Do other people have any shipping nightmares?

I am not regretting this swap at all, I just wish that the people in my town would acknowledge that there are countries other than the US and people might want to send items to the people there..

OK my package has been sent out!!! Looking at the customs form i now realize that my guesstimates of what was in the package are a little off, I really should've made a list while I was packing it.. rather than trying to recall everything quickly while the postal worker waited. ha ha. ooops. Hope it gets there quickly and safely!!
