Ich habe eine Frage: How did you make the scroll looking part? It's so clean and perfect!
All the appliqued pieces are done the same way. I first copied the motif onto fabric, embroidered the "inner" lines by hand and sewed along the outlines with a narrow zigzag stitch. Then i cut it out, did a little touch up on the edges and sewed every piece onto the jacket. No magic involved Smiley

This came out really beautiful. I've been playing around with embroidery for a while, but I never thought about using appliques. This is really fantastic!

I lived in St Paulie in Hamburg for 2 years ....that jacket is the Hamburg I knew Smiley the skill of the crafting is wonderful of course, but to all who dont know Hamburg ....that jacket captures the feel of it so well ...Once you know Hamburg you will understand just how great this art work is Smiley
