What a great job, it really suits the jacket. I like the way it looks, like an 'old school' type tattoo, very nautical, again great job.

Thank you all so much for your wonderful and lovely comments. I'm really, really touched! Smiley

Actually it wasn't as much work as it seems. I don't consider myself an expert for embroidery, this is the biggest project I've done so far.
I just discovered embroidery for me, normally sewing is more my thing. I was surprised how fast it went, it just took me a couple of days on and off. It's easy and a lot of fun, I encourage everyone to try it out.

This is fantastic! Your embroidery is so good, and I particularly like the lettering. You really seemed to capture the essence of your town (city!!), too!

Beautiful work!
I was in Hamburg for a couple of days two summers ago, as a friend of mine lives there, and I really liked it! We also took a tour on a little boat in the harbour and it was so nice with the sun setting and all the colourful rusty containers!  Smiley

Moin! That represents Hamburg soooooooooo great because of the sailor tattoos and stuff. And of course because it is such an awesome piece of work. I have to make my own from my ruhrpott hometown maybe with crossed miner tools...Wenn du nicht gewinnst wei ich auch nicht..
