I'm a new knitter, and I'm fascinated by the phenomenon of the knitting blog. I'm amazed by how many there are, and how interesting they can actually be to read, now that I have a vocabulary of knitting terms and can actually understand what the heck they're talking about! So, which blogs do you frequent? What's coolest about them? Link me up!

Such a helpful knitting community, and it has links to lots of other knitting blogs on the community info page.  I'm in the process of making a knitting blog, and I'll let you know the url when I finish it.

Hi trufflegirl,

I second http://wendyknits.net/ Wendy's blog is some people's idea of the definitive knitting blog - she has been going for a few years and has been featured in the media. She has a large links page here http://wendyknits.net/wendy/links.htm which is a really great way to get access to other knitting blogs.

http://www.knitty.com is also a great source of knitting inspiration and information and it's free!

Also look out for knitalongs that you like cause they are a great way to see other people's blogs and they are probably interested in the same knitting as you are.

http://www.loobylu.com/ is also good for cool crafty things and ideas - she hosts the month of softies http://www.loobylu.com/softies/ and always comes up with interesting sites to visit.

But... craftster is *very* addictive...  Cheesy
