I got a pkg of gnomey goodness from miz lily!!!

wrapped in Gnome fabric and with tootsies for the girls! Who say very big thank yous by the way... my eldest (10y.o.)said " thank goodness we have candy back in our lives!!"  funny, I could have SWORN mom spoiled them rotten full of chocolates over EASTER... hmmmm....

I was given three things that I am coveting of late:

Very nice heavy canvas apron adorned with NoM goodness! (excuse me for not modeling, I am in my nightgown, yes its 430pm, but I start work at 7 and do a 12 hr shift... I wouldnt want to mar the beauty of her work with the bedhead face I have on right now....lol)

Grocery totes/Craft totes/All around useful totes, adorned with embroidered gnomey's! Helga and Beauragard... she suggested I could rename them but who would need to? great names!

and most especially appreciated, a GNOME HOME needle book!! As I am getting into embroidery, I was wanting to make myself one, but I was holding off, hoping that Lily was sending one!! Yay!

Thank you, I so love your embroidery skillz!  I am totally inspired to create so much more with embroidery... awesome package, I plan to start using a tote right now for work...hehe... gnomey nurse... now thats a cute idea... hmmm... ttyl!

Yay! I got the best package today from my wonderful partner t-dub! It is so great! I got a huge gnome stuffie-seriously about 2 feet tall, a beautiful embroidered wall hanging, a felt wall hanging, some great gnome post cards, a journal, a yard gnome and thermometer, a couple of cute patches, and extras too- a mug, delicious chocolate, and treats for the kitties and the doggy. Here are some photos! I love it all t-dub! I hung the felt frame in my craft room and embroidered piece in my dining room (coincidentally, I did have a dowel rod that fit!). Anyway-here is all the loot:

The stuffie- so big I couldn't fit the whole guy in the frame!

And probably my favorite- the embroidered hanging:

Thanks so much for everything t-dub! I love it all!

Yay! I'm glad you received your package fae, and I'm very relieved you like everything! I sent mine out right before I received and once I saw how much stuff you sent I started getting very worried that my package wasn't good enough.  Undecided

Wow, that's some great stuff! Lily, those embroidered totes are awesome, they look like such a cute couple! Smiley  And the needlebook is so cute, I especially like the little whift of smoke coming out of the chimney - it's the little things, hm?

And t-dub, that wallhanging is so cool - I love the woody theme it has! The gnome stuffy is cute, too, the look on his face is priceless.

Thanks AsphaltQueen! Smiley

t-dub - I love the stuff you made! That little felt card, or wall hanging, or whatever, is SO cute! I love the cross-eyed gnome!

Wow, that wallhanging looks incredibly detailed - someone has a lot more patience than I do! And that gnome pillow is so cute, I just wanna pick him up and squish him!

I've received my package from AlternaWidget and I LOVE everything.  She has totally spoiled me, when I opened the box my girls stood and oohed and aaahed at everything that came out.  Ok now total photo overload...

The group shot.  2 gnome stuffies, a tote bag, a wee gnome, a fabulous gnome book with 3 cool postcards inside, hair bobbles, wind chime and a gnome cookie cutter who will be producing a batch of gnome goodies this weekend Wink

The most gorgeous tote bag with the most handsome gnome ever on the front.  AlternaWidget said she thinks her hubby was glad to see him go - lucky me I now have him to keep me company on all those lonely days when my hubby is working offshore Grin

A pretty wee chime, check out those gorgeous beads.

Hair bobbles...so pretty and a cute wee guy who you can see has already been out in the garden checking out who else lives here.

And here are Jack and Jolly introducing themselves to Norris the Gnome poor guy he's constantly amazed at how many weeds there are in our garden.

Again thank you alternaWidget you are a very talented lady and I am so lucky having you as a partner.
Off now to cuddle with my new friends.

Oops forgot to add a thank you for the buckeye recipe, they sound delicious and we will definately be giving them a try.  Just need to figure out if what you call confectionary sugar is what we call icing sugar or something else Grin
