Thought I'd post a close up of the pin and necklace I sent to redstar!


It was done on a bamboo tile, decoupage, and super industrial glue for the gems. there is a nice red bead on the end.

I thought this turned out neat. it was initially a picture of a shocked looking cat, then I drew over it where it didnt look quite right. I made something similar for a friend too. (no pics though )


I also just noticed that everything I make has cat hair on it. garrrrrr! If you are allergic to cats...never swap with me

Kirstilynne, the shoppin' bag is kewl--you did a nice job with the stencils. The notebook is super funny, too. I like the "successories" style lolcats.

That actually was my very first time stenciling anything. I have had fabric paint medium forever and was dying to try it. i have developed a love for the stuff from this swap.

i totally wanted to post the closeups but was so cracked out excited to get my goodies i forgot eek!! i didn't even mention the pin eek!!!! the bag has to be my favorite part of it all!!! I love the "kthnxbye" (my fave meme )

I received from millik today! (Actually it probably got here Caturday, but I was out of town.)
First things first: the lovely and strange postcard she sent:

We went to our favorite late-night dive and played a few rounds over hashbrowns and Reese's Peanut Butter Cup pancakes. The truckers were very curious as to what we were doing.

Yay! I'm so pleased that you liked everything! I was really nervous. ...

Especially after I got my package from you yesterday because it was soooo awesome!!

I will post pictures tonight... you are all going to be so jealous. I will continue to keep you in suspense about what I got but everything is so awesomely made and generally wonderful that you're going to need to hold on to yr hairballs.
