It's beautiful, and so are your photos! I feel your pain in regards to the bodice, but the work is so worth it if you end up with a perfectly fitting garment, especially one so pretty as yours. I like how you matched the red on the jewelry on the first set of pictures with the color of the dress, it adds a lot of depth to the outfit.

that is lovely! My dd would love such a dress (why didn't I think of that in time to make her one for her birthday this weekend?Huh).

I hope redoing the bodice stays isn't too time consuming!

You did a great job!  This is absolutely beautiful, and the fabric color looks wonderful on you!

Since I started classes again, I've stopped sewing, and have been crocheting and knitting instead.  This makes me want to break out the sewing machine!
