Ooh, those postcards turned out really cute!

Just another project post--I knit thrummed mittens w/ the roving that I got from Miss V.  They turned out REALLY squishy inside!

Knit w/ Miss V's merino top roving and Paton's classic merino wool in medium grey.  I tried to line up the colours on the diagonal.

Nothing quite like pudgy mitten hands, IMO. Smiley

Is the colour peeking thru the roving from the inside?  Those are so neat and really warm I bet!

Sorta!  You knit w/ the regular yarn and then you knit with pieces of roving so that it sticks through the front like a big stitch. Smiley

They are very cozy inside--the idea is that the roving matts into the inside with wear so that you end up with a wooly lining. Smiley

Wow!  I'm glad you guys like them!

I was thinking of making some for the swap, but they take a while to make and will cost quite a bit to ship so I don't think I could put them at three points.
(Four days solid knitting, 7.50 worth of wool, 2 pts worth of roving, and the shipping of course).

Plus it's getting to be warmer weather now, so I don't think there would be much demand for them anyways.  I had intended to knit these eons ago!   Roll Eyes
