My Hometown is Moncks Corner, South Carolina -- our High School colors are blue and gold.  This purse was created for a student in the school colors and her name is embroidered on one side and the Palmetto Tree on the other side.  The Palmetto tree, as many of you probably know, is on the state flag of South Carolina.  I actually took the palmetto tree off of a state flag and digitized it into my Singer Futura software to create an exact duplicate of the tree from the flag.  The purse is lined in the same fabric as the outside and has two interrior pockets.  I used Simplicity 8331 to create the bag.

I see that tree everywhere, especially on the back of people's cars and I live in NORTH Carolina. Tongue
Love the colors.
