i was so excited to see this challenge! i live in new york city and there's so much to choose from! i made an art quilt and decided to go with a little bit o' skyline showing off my two faves...the empire state building and the chrysler building and the wonderful yellow cab! the width is about 11 inches and the length 18 inches.

wow i love this!

the colours are really great, and the composition is fabulous! i love that it's just a little cut out of a scene from NY with the taxi being cut off by the border, and the layers of buildings look really really great! Cheesy

really good entry! i think you really executed the theme really well.
