I'm finally working on making my apartment home. I've lived here about 7 months and am almost done unpacking! I recently joined couchsurfing and felt the need to do some major cleaning before my guests arrived and got a little carried away in the process...
Still have alot more to do, but I wanted to go ahead and post my progress seeing as I won't have time to complete it til spring break.
I bought this white table and chairs off craigslist and reupholstered and painted them, I'm still not entirely sure what I want to do with the tabletop

I've been repainting these black.

And am finally using some the decorative things that have been collecting dust in my storage room.

Looks like you're off to a great start!!!  You got a great find on Craigslist and did a great job in reupholstering the chairs.  Very good job.  You might want to keep in mind that whatever you do with the tabletop that it will be "scoff" proof.

Maybe just throw some material over it (table cloth like) for now. Something that would coordinate with the seats. You could always paint and then resin interesting items into it later. This would probably take some work and time. I saw a bar table like this before that turned out well.

Nice work on it!
