Your bishop dress is beautiful!!  Your smocking awesome!!!!
As another smocker i totally appreciate the time and patience it takes.  I've done picture smocking and some geometric with beading.  I have wanted to do a bishop dress but scared to invest all that time and get bad result in fit. Great hem and neckline too!!!

y'all know there is a group, SAGA, which has chapters all over the country.  Maybe you could hook up with one of them and get a smocking teacher.  Go to Smocking.org
