So it's been years since I painted last and I have really wanted to start up again. I was never great when I did paint but I had a few skillz, lol. Anyways, here are a few that I've done this week to get back into painting. Smiley

Please note that my flash made all the colors a little brighter than they are in real life. It's dark outside so I had to use it.

This first one is your basic beach scene, note the lack of clouds because I have yet to learn that ability.

Next is a grassy field. I tried to work in some clouds, not too bad - getting better. I'm still working on this one a little I'm thinking about adding some trees?

The last one is just something I did real quick. It's more abstract but it was fun to paint.

Thanks for looking!

Why is it that I can no longer buy anything that has a slight chance I could make it myself? Even if I don't know how to make it, or it's cheaper to buy...I can no longer buy it because "I could make that myself".

Thank you for the nice comments. I like the last one the best too. It's funny that I had to take breaks from painting because my 4 yr old kept getting in trouble, I'm lucky the mom in the painting turned out so sweet, lol.
