I just opened my shop and added two new items -- crocheted flower bracelets.  Here's a peek at one:

I will be leaving the swap after this Month.  I've really enjoyed it, but I don't have the time to devote to it properly.  If there's anything you'd like from me, grab it this month!  Smiley

Those bracelets are so pretty, Katxena. I've never seen any like that before.

Thanks.  I more or less made up the pattern.  I wanted to make more of them, in different colors and with more flowers -- but I sadly don't have the time.  Sad  I hope to come back to this swap in a few months if y'all are still doing it.

I LOVE them! If they're still there when I manage to send out tomorrow, I'll be claiming them! Cheesy

Thanks Phizzy!  I got the idea from a comment you made in last month's discussion!

Hi MonkeyThumb! I am enjoying my stamp!!!!!!
You should definitely join because it is tons of fun and I love everything you make! It's very easy too. Making your shop is really just like posting a regular message. Once you've signed up, just go to the thread with the shops on it and post your items like you would post pictures in any other thread. Then just look around at other people's shops to get a feel for the point values. You'll start with three points that you can spend. Whenever someone buys something from your shop, the points would be "pending" (i.e. not spendable) until you have sent that item. If you work up to 7 points you have to close until you spend down to five just to keep the economy moving. Also, there are lots of people in the swap willing to make special orders or take requests. Whenever you are ready to leave, just make sure your points are back at three again or you can just roll whatever value you have over to the next month and play again!

oh, I forgot to add that when you sell an item, just remove it from your shop and put it in the gallery. Smiley

The next round should start up around the first/second day of April, depending on when the 3 of us organizers can get together.  I will post the new round in this thread so everyone can find it.  Thanks pinkanddinky for your great explanation Smiley  Once you figure out the points part, its like having a bunch of available swap partners to choose from-as long as someone's shop is open (we close as p&d said when we reach 7 points, or when we're unavailable)you can spend your points on whatever items are still available.  You can also put some supplies in your shop if you like.  Its fun to be able to make whatever you like and cuts waaay down on the swap anxiety as people are claiming things they want!  Hope you join us Smiley

MonkeyThumb - Join!!!  I know it all seems confusing at first but so far (I can't speak for the organizers before me), we haven't bitten anyone's head off for asking questions!

AQ - I have a skein of handspun that is calling you!  I will see about taking pictures but my husband is leaving town with the iPod, the camera and a bunch of other things so I may be scanning it in later tonight.  (Or, holding onto his leg to prevent him from leaving until he gives the camera back!)

I also have about 24oz of fiber on the way to me today (I hope!) so that means I'll be able to get some spinning done this weekend.
