Organizer meets the 4 conditions for swapping and will make sure that
every participant meets these conditions: YES

All swappers MUST be pre-approved for this swap!

This is a finished item swap. Post a "shop" of at least 5 items for everyone else in the swap to choose from. All items should be finished and hand crafted. They do not necessarily need to be crafted by you,but do keep in mind that this should primarily be a shop of your handcrafted items! Please credit the creator by NAME for items you did not make. Supply option you can also post up to 4 supply items (non-crafted) Keep these items at the end of your shop.

What is a shop?
A shop is a post in this thread, listing the items that you have available to be claimed. As long as you can post a list of items, with pictures if at all possible, you have a swap shop! You can also manage your shop pictures on your own picture hosting and just post links in your shop post. It's up to you to keep your shop as up to date as possible by removing items that have been claimed (transfer pictures to the gallery) and posting any new items you want to add. Items in your shop should all have a 'price' between 1 and 3 points. Make sure it's clear how much each item costs and use a recognizable title if you can (for example: green sparkly scarf if there are more than one green sparkly scarf # 1)

- The majority of the posts in this thread should be shops. That's what we all want to see, right? So let's try and keep all the discussion over here: http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=230934.0

- When you claim an item, pm all 3 organizers (alteredmommy, lapoli, xladyluckx) AND the person you claim from. Claims will be first come, first served. The first person to send a PM to all four of the proper people IN THE PROPER FORMAT will get the item.
- Rather than keeping track of the number of claims, like the other ongoing swaps, we will be using a point system for this swap.
- When someone claims an item on your list and is confirmed by an organizer, you are responsible for removing that item from your shop post. There is a gallery that you can transfer your pictures to, see below for the link.
- When you send and receive an item, PM all 3 organizers (alteredmommy, lapoli and xladyluckx) AND the person who sent it to you.
- DC# are required on an object that is eligible for one if sending internationally please keep your postal receipt until your item is received.  If your item has not been received within a reasonable time (3-4 weeks domestic; 4-5 weeks international) an angel can be arranged if you have a DC# or postal receipt.  If not you will be required to remake or offer something else from your shop and resend.

Here are the most important things you need to know about your points:
-all persons NEW to the swap get 3 points to spend to start with; swappers from previous Shop the Swaps (from Round 2 to now) carry over their points to the next month they sign up for.  Round 1 had a different point structure, please let us know if that was the only STS round you were in.
- if you plan on leaving the swap at the end of the month please spend down your points to 3, you must leave the swap with the same 3 points you started with!!.
- Every time someone claims an item from your shop, you get the price of the item in points. ****You cannot spend your points until you have physically SENT the item and pmd the proper people****
- Every time you claim an item from someone else's shop you spend the amount of points in the price of the item.
- Once you have +7 points (TOTAL of current and pending), your shop will be temporarily closed for business until you have less than 5 points. Please edit your shop post to put 'CLOSED' in large bold letters to make it clear to everyone when your shop is closed. There will also be a list near the top of the thread with all the closed shops.
- Once you have 0 points, you can't claim any items until you have at least 1 point.
- The organizers will keep a running point total at the top of the thread, but you should keep track at the bottom of your shop as well. All claims from you and that you make for this round only must be listed there.
Please use this format:

Claims from me:
list all claims made to your shop

Claims I have made
list all claims you have made to other shops

Started with: (how many points you started this round with)
Current: (how many spendable points you currently have)
Pending: (how many points you have from pending claims that you have not sent yet)
TOTAL: (the total of current and pending points-if this total is 7 or more you must CLOSE your shop until you can ship/spend down to 5 points or less)

PLEASE PM THE ORGANIZERS alteredmommy, xladyluckx, lapoli WITH THE FOLLOWING
(Make the title of your PM  Shop the Swap 12 SIGNUP)

How many points do I start with?
If this is your first round, you start with 3 points but you cannot spend these points until you have your shop opened!! If you were part of a previous round you'll start with a number of points based on how many points you had at the end of your last round.

Do I have to post pictures?
It's not required, but it's strongly encouraged. Good pictures will make people more likely to claim your items!

What size items should be in my shop? What size goes with what price?
You can put any size items in your shop, and you can charge whatever price is fair. If you really need a guideline, try small for 1 point, medium for 2 points, large for 3 points. But feel free to judge by other criteria like the expense of the materials, how much you enjoy making the item, how popular the item seems to be, etc.

Why does my shop close when I have 7 points? (TOTAL of current AND pending)
When you have 7 points, it means you've had several more claims against your shop than you have made yourself. We want to make sure that no one gets shortchanged, so once several items have been claimed from your list, your shop will be 'closed' until you catch up on claiming some things for yourself. We also want to make sure no one is 'hoarding' points, so we want you to spend your points and get them back out in the economy.

Why don't I get my points until I have sent my item?
There are several reasons for this. First of all, it's a good way for us to control how many claims you have going on at one time. If you don't get your points until your items are sent, you can't have a bunch of packages waiting to be shipped and still be making claims. It will also help protect our swap from anyone who might flake by not allowing them to make lots of claims if they aren't shipping their items. And it'll encourage everyone to ship on time, or even faster, so that they can get their points! We aren't waiting until items are received, because that will make it very difficult for international craftsters to participate in the swap.
Please let the organizers know if you are going to be shipping late!!!

What can I put in my shop post?
Can I put a wishlist? Can I take requests? Can I post embarassing pictures of my little brother?
The focus of your shop post, should be your shop! However, as long as you are keeping your shop the focus, and keeping it up to date, and keeping it stocked.... We don't care what you put in there! As long as you aren't breaking any rules of craftster, or any laws, go for it!

I want to do another swap, but the month isn't over, can you go ahead and give me my feedback?
In order to leave the swap early, you need to have at least as many points as you started with. You must have 3 points to leave this swap. If points are an issue after a close-out sale and posting in the thread, contact the organizers for further help. Once you do, you can go ahead and 'close' your shop. Then, after everything that had been previously claimed from you has been received, you can leave the swap and get your positive feedback.

My points/claims don't match what I think they should. Is something wrong?
If it has been more than 24 hours since you made the claim. Or if any of the organizers admit to having been drunk/sick/tired when we last updated the claims or points, go ahead and send us a PM. Otherwise, give us about 24 hours to get caught up with claims. If your claim is at least 24 hours old, and something seems wrong, feel free to send us a PM and ask. If your claim is several days old and something seems wrong PLEASE send us a PM to make sure we received the claim!

I think I have 7 points but you only show me with 6, am I closed? OR I think I have 6 points but you show me with 7, am I open? OR Why are my points still pending, I sent those items?
In general, if you have recently changed your points, you're probably right and the point total is probably out of date. When in doubt, it's fine to go with what you think your status is. It doesn't hurt to include a little note in any PM's you send letting us know, just in case there is an issue. (For example, "XladyluckX just claimed my peanut butter sculpture, but your list shows my shop as closed. I claimed a couple things recently so I think I should be open and this claim should be ok.") Now, since you are the person who is the most up to date on your own point total, help us out!! Please close your shop when you know you're at 7 points. Also, feel free to re-open your shop when you know you are at 5 points. And, if you've sent us a PM saying you sent items, go ahead and spend the points, even if they still show as pending points on the list.

What do I need to say in my PM's to the organizers??
please remember to include the send by date (one week from the claim date) in your send and receive pms

When claiming it needs to come to us looking like this:

make sure the To: box includes ALL the proper people in your pm ALL the organizers and the person you are claiming from/sending to/receiving from We need to see ONE message with everyones name on it to be valid! (hint- put quotes around each name except the last one you type)

When you claim it needs to look like this:
Subject: Shop the Swap 3 - CLAIM
xladyluckx to raynbow - sheepy soap - (1 pt)
dont forget your name and address!!

When you send it needs to look like this:
Subject: Shop the Swap 3 - SENT
Send By May 30th don't forget to put the send by date!
xladyluckx to raynbow - sheepy soap - (1)

When you receive it needs to look like this:
Subject: Shop the Swap 3 - RECEIVED
Send By May 30th once again, don't forget the send by date
xladyluckx to raynbow - sheepy soap - (1)

Claims must be in this format, or they will not be honored. If you DO NOT receive a claim in this format, please do not send the item. If you wish you can send the claimer a PM reminding them of the proper format for claims.

If you want to include a personal note in the PM as well, it's fine, but please make sure it is underneath the claim information.

You can include several claims in one post, but make sure each is listed seperately and that it is clear there are multiple claims.

Why do I have to list my claims in my shop? Aren't you keeping track of my points?
Yes! We are keeping track of your points, and in any disagreement, ours is the list that counts. But to make it easier to resolve any disagreements, we'd like to be able to compare your list of what you think you've claimed/has been claimed from you, and compare it to our list!
Also, if you keep a running list of your claims in your shop, it makes it much easier for people to look at your shop and figure out if you are open or closed, when the points list hasn't been updated in the last 5 minutes! Please see the first post about format!!

Hand Dyed Fiber for Felting/Carding/Spinning

I have some "leftovers" from other endevours that are perfectly usable.  These are all Brown Sheep mill ends and wonderfuly soft.  Each of these pieces can be used for spinning/felting/carding but they had been set aside from the rest for being shorter pieces and/or more matted than I cared to deal with.  These have been dyed with Jacquard Acid Dyes and rinsed with Eucalan several times.  Each 1oz is 1 point.  Mix/match as you'd like.  Want other colors?  PM me and perhaps we can work something out.

"Lavender Mischief" - a pretty combination of purples and pinks. 1oz available.

"Palest Pink" - the palest most beautiful pink ever! 1oz available.
(Picture coming soon)

"Vermillion" - a toned down, earthy red. Gorgeous! 1oz available.

"Pipsqueak."  This roving is perfectly spinable, just in a thick piece rather than being longer and braidable.  3oz available.

"Bruised"  Again, perfectly spinable, just in a thicker piece.

Tired of deciding between the dog and the iron while playing Monopoly?  Step your game up a notch and bring your own piece to the table!  Set of six, double-sided handdrawn game pieces that measure approximately 1 1/2" tall.  1/2 point.

OR, if people aren't your fancy, select the angry/expressionless/scared blobs! These are a bit smaller (varying in sizes, but just above 1/2" tall) and come in a set of 6.  1/2 point.

new! supplies!

Loteria Cards.  Set of 4 for 1/2 point.  Please specify which you want. (If you need help figuring out what pictures are, please PM me!)

Pipe cleaners. 1/2 point.  A mix of grays, whites, blacks, tans, and browns.

Firstly, it should be known that my household is non-smoking, but I do have two furry cats. Please pm me if you need more detailed info about any of the items.

V1. Batik clothing! See the gallery here:
for photos and points.

Jaws onesie cotton knit lap shoulder onesie, size 6 mo, with batik shark. (1)

V2. Custom children's clothing. Use fabrics from my stash or send me the fabric of your choice for sewn items for kids up to ~ 12 yo. Please pm me to discuss any projects first. Pointage based on difficulty of project and whether I supply fabrics. Gallery of available fabrics here:

2B. Owl and Cat Mark 2, from a Burda WOF magazine December 1972. Dark burgundy wool gabardine, cotton, polyfill. Not suitable for very small children (not a choking hazard, but they are liable to pull off the owl's wings). As before, they go as a pair. (2 pts for both)

back: http://decapod.home.silentsong.net/sswap348.jpg

2K. Purple mountains large flat wet felt, approx 20x22 inches. Wool. (2)

2L. Felt drawstring bag wet felted bag with cinched closure. Roughly 8x9". Colors more vibrant in real life. The interior 'seam' (the felt is actually seamless) is rather thick on this one. (2)

2M. Stripe Bag wet felted purse in turquoise with deep purple stripe. Approx. 9 inches tall. Wool. (2)

3A. Medallion jacket: jacket from a simplicity pattern (4698?). This jacket is partially lined (the front and upper back), in a meaty cream cotton with copper embossed design. It is meant to fit me - 32" bust, 30" waist, 40" hip. This one is worn open, so there is some leeway with the fit - it will be best for someone with a B cup or smaller. I made this last fall, and only wore it once - there is nothing wrong with it, but it was a little warm and a bit too stiff for my comfort. Machine washable. (3)

back: http://decapod.home.silentsong.net/sswap109.jpg
on me: http://decapod.home.silentsong.net/4698a.jpg

3B. Corduroy jacket, from a McCall pattern (5007). This jacket is a stretch cotton corduroy in mocha with dark brown print, lined with a silk print of travel postcards. Button front, raglan sleeves. I love the fabric, but ended up not liking the style. It is meant to fit me - 32" bust, 30" waist, 40" hip. Hand wash or cold gentle machine wash, line dry. (3)

on me: http://decapod.home.silentsong.net/5007.jpg

3C. Felted wool jacket from a Vogue pattern. Fulled charcoal wool jersey with needle felted swirls. Loose fit, front drapes in folds. High hip length. Size 'M', for approx 34-36" bust. Sleeves can be folded into cuffs.

3D. Tibetan panel coat another leftover from the color class I took last year. Strange color combination, blue silk/wool suiting, purple wool gab, lined with orange and green cotton prints.  One size fits many; loose fit. (3)

S1. Patterns uncut sewing patterns. 1/2 pt each.
McCall 5313 uncut jumper pattern, sizes 4-6-8-10. (1/2)
Simplicity 8523 six tops for woven fabrics, uncut, sizes 20-22-24. (1/2)

S2. Milkweed fluff a baggie of milkweed fluff - use it in papermaking or whatever. Contains some seeds, so no international shipping (sorry). 1/2 pt

S3.Lenticular vinyl flexible vinyl has butterflies that turn into flowers when the material shifts. Approximately 20 by 15". Can be sewn, glued, etc. The backing is rubbed off a little in one or two spots, which affects the image, but it is mostly fine. The back must be protected/sealed/lined for your craft project. (2)

All Things PinkAndDinky

I share my smoke-free home with two kitties but I mostly keep my craft stuff out of their reach.

Half point items.

Pearl earrings (.5)
Gray freshwater pearls and peach glass beads on silver-plated earwires

Covered Button Ponytail Holder- .5 each
Only the poodle is available. It is on a Goody Stayput hair elastic.

Doily Angel- .5

Fancypants Ponytail Holder - (.5)
The two metal beads on this are very good quality heavy beads.

Butterfly Gift Tags and Flower Gift Tags- Set of 16 (.5)
All are on heavy cardstock and the butterflies are wooden. For a half point, get all you see in both pictures.

Nashville Craft Mafia bag (.5)

One point items

Pink Patched Tshirt- 1
This is made by the talented Penlowe. I bought it last round but sadly it is a little small on me and I don't really have anyone the right size to give it to. It is very cute and well made (on a high quality shirt) and definitely a great deal at 1 point since it was originally two. It is 34 bust, juniors 7/8.

Closeup of the cool detailing:

Light switch covers- 1 point each
All have a satin varnish to protect them from wear and dirt. Please provide the name of the one you want. Names are listed starting top left and going clockwise for each picture. If you want a set of any, no problem, just let me know. The only ones I can't make more of are "Vintage Fashion Ad" and "Red Shoes and Bike"

Vintage Fashion Ad
Red shoes and bike
Buttons (this one has three real buttons glued on in the corner)

Clockwise from left:
Little people
Scottie Dog
Pink cat  sold to ptarmicwumpus
Stripes and Dots

Clockwise from left:
Blue and cream- Claimed by Lapoli
Pink Shabby Chic
Heirloom Brown
Brown and blue circles

Iconic pen and ink drawing (1)
This is a 4x6 framed print of a drawing made by one of my artist friends.

Pink Tooth Box (1)
Leave a tooth for the tooth fairy in this cute box or use it as a place to keep your kid's baby teeth

Coordinating interior

Pajama/Comfy Pants (.5) REDUCED
These are khaki colored with pink flowers. The waist is 30 inches when it is not stretched at all and can stretch up to 41 inches. The inseam is 26 inches. They are about a size 8/10 and made to fit loosely.

Woven placemats with leaves. The placemats are from Target and I added the felt embroidered leaves. Set of 4 placemats plus leaf potholder: Reduced to 1 point

Passport Cover with travel motif (1)
This fits a US passport. This one has been taken off the market but I can easily make more of these. PM me if interested.

Pink Arm Band Wallet (1)
This is cotton that is coated with something slick like vinyl. Lined with pink cotton. Great stocking stuffer!

Blue Arm Band Wallet (.5) REDUCED
This can hold money, keys, ipod, etc. while you exercise or don't want to carry a purse. It fastens with velcro and is adjustable to fit the upper arm of most adults. Lined with white cotton.
Great stocking stuffer!

Two Point Items

Light Green Saucer (2)
This is handthrown pottery glazed with a light green semi-gloss glaze.

Japanese pin cushion (2)
This is 2 points because it is an antique (I added the pin cushion top today though so that part is not  Smiley). In my opinion, what makes it so cute is its diminuitive size. It is smaller than an espresso cup and most egg cups, yet it is plenty big to hold a project's worth of straight pins.

As you can see from the bottom, it is fairly old.

Sundress (2)
I started this and my mom finished it this summer. I never wore it though because I decided it isn't me, but I still think it is quite cute. The top is 30 inches around the bust but is very stretchy. The length is 34 inches, excluding straps. It is about a size 8 but I think a 6 or a 10 could probably wear it too.

Three point items.

GET any 4 items in this section for 1 point!!!!

Choose any 4 items for one point. Or you can choose 2 and then get something else from the half point section. Please indicate item by name.
Roughly left to right:
3 potholders (all 3 for .25 pt)
2 woven straw envelopes (both for .25 pt)
Vintage learn to knit booklet
Piglet patch
Carebear embroidery kit
24 gauge beading wire
mini flower pots
2 beaded ponytail holders (both for .25)
silver wood earrings
pink leather cord
bag of small leather cords
bag of large leather cords
2 necklaces made by children in Czech Republic for People in Need (organization to help the poor) (both for .25)

Supply Annex  Supply Annex  Supply Annex

Two Pewter Charms- 1/4 pt. for both REDUCED
The one on the left is a rotary cutter that says "quilter" on the handle and the other is a hot glue gun.

Vintage Red and Green Fabric-1 REDUCED BECAUSE I CUT IT IN HALF
This is cool vintage fabric with red and green firework-looking things on it. There is a bit more than a half yard (maybe an extra fourth or so)

Welcome to the Laughing Lark!

I live in a non-smoking home with my hubby, three boys and a very big, and somewhat arrogant, fluffy orange tomcat. I keep Seymour out of my craft supplies as much as possible, so I don't have to brush orange fur off of everything. Wink

To help our organizers, please copy just the bolded black text when claiming. Thanks!
Small pictures are clickable links to bigger images.

These are the new spiders for October 2008. They are parked here in my last shop till I can reopen in the current thread on the 8th! Smiley

Pretty pink apple print pajama pants! I lovve the print of the flannel with all the different colored apples. They have a stretchy waist and pretty pink bow. The waist measures 31-35" comfortably with a 14" rise and 22" inseam. (2 points!)

Awesome pink tie-dye SKULL pajama pants!  They have a stretchy waist and pretty pink bow. The waist measures 35-40" comfortably with a 13.5" rise and 25" inseam. (2 points!)

Soo cute. I made this cosmetic/whatever bag out of the cutest baby deer print corduroy fabric. It has rick-rack and button details on the front, fully lined with a pocket on the inside too. There is a layer of batting in between so its soft but sturdy. Totally free standing and pretty big, measuring 11.5" across and 7" tall not including the flat bottom. (1 point) claimed by lapoli!

Cute ami style pig! Crocheted out of light peach yarn. Measures 8" long not including the tail! (1 point)

Mixed paper journals! I found a fun tutorial online for these and i figured i would give them a shot.. i love how they turned out! They measure 5x7" each with over 100 pages! Choose either the blue guitar or brown skulls and hearts. (1 point each!) blue guitar has been claimed by mimiw!

I made this totally cute bag out of lightweight purple denim fabric. The inside is fully lined in purple and pink heart print fabric - the same fabric was used for the outside pocket! Its seriously huge, measures 19.5" across and 15" long  (1 point!)

1/3 point item sale!

Mini Lotteria Notebooks. They have lotteria cards as the front and back cover with a green polka dot binding. Measures 2.5 x 3.5". Choose la pera, el corazon or el diabllllllo! (1/3 point each)

Cute crocheted strawberry shortcake pouch! The bottom is brown and the frosting area is made out of super soft fuzzy pink yarn. the best part is the strawberry slices around the base and the 3-D strawberries at the end of the drawstrings! I received this in a swap and love it, its just not getting the love it deserves! It measures 5.5" tall. (1/3 point)

Cute crocheted cupcake mini-bag! I received this in a swap last year and as absolutely cute as it is.. i just havent found a use for it so it should go to a home that will give it the love it needs! It has a yellow base and pink "frosting" area. Drawstring top and measures 4.5" tall. (1/3 point)

Super cute zipper pouch! Its made out of heavier weight canvas fabric, fully lined in the same green/beige striped fabric. It has a front zipper that has a cute blue metal heart charm on the zipper pull. It measures 6" x 10" (1/3 point!)

Pretty pink tropical fabric. Fruits and flowers all over. Its heavier than just regular cotton with a very slight one way stretch. 52" wide and 3" short of being a complete yard. (1/2 point)

Cute lycra/spandex fabric! You get both peices. They both have that great summertime flowery print - perfect for a little girls swimsuit or adult bathing suit cover up.. or whatever you feel like Smiley The red piece measures 38" x 42" and the blue piece measures 20" x 64" ( 1 point)

Wooden Hearts! You get two packages of each - everything you see in the picture! Perfect for drilling holes in and using as pendants and charms or for gluing to other things. ( 1 point)

As you can probably tell from my avatar, there's a beagle in my house (that often comes in my crafting room with me). We are, however, a non-smoking household.

Pink and blue owl earrings with swarovski crystal - 1 point

Hypo allergenic nickel free plating earring findings

Published June 13, 1944 and distributed "one to each male officer and enlisted man". Details the dangers of contracting venereal disease. I think this would be awesome for altered art. Over 60 pages. Approx 4"x4".

So You Don't Want to be a Sex Object pamphlet - 1 point
Copyright 1973, published by Rocky Mountain Planned Parenthood. Has a library card attached to inner front cover. 20 pages. Another good altered art possibility, though the cover is the highlight. Approx 5"x6".

**My home is smoke free but I do have 2 large dogs**

Reversible Tote Bag (2 points)
The inside is the reverse fabric of the outside.  It has 24" nylon webbing for straps and measures 12"x11".  100% quilters cotton, fusible interfacing and fusible fleece for sturdiness.

Quilted Denim Zipper Bag (2 points)
Measures 8 1/2"x10" and is lined with coordinating batik fabric.

Small Portfolio (1 point)
These were made with the free Amy Butler pattern.  I made a few modifications and added some elastic to hold a pen.  They measure about 5"x6" closed.  Please specify from left to right: A, B, or C.

Here is how it looks with a pen and some small note cards inside:

Car Trash Bag (1 point)
Bag has a snap on the strap and you can either hang it over the gear shift or around a headrest.  Inside part lifts out and the trash bag folds over between the 2 layers at the top. (Trash bags not in photo since I am out.  I will go buy some before sending out and send a few along.)  Please specify navy blue corduroy or blue and green swirls.  This is how it looks in a car: http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=231336.msg2537143#msg2537143

Black Curly Scarf (1 point)
Made with soft, semi-fuzzy acrylic yarn and measures 5 1/2 feet long.

Small Clutch (1 point)
Fully lined and closes with a snap.  Measure 8.75"x4" but only has 8" usable space because of the side seams.

Supply Items:

Fabric (1 point per 1/2 yard)
Please specify dots or apples. The apples fabric is cotton.

Shirts for dying (1/2 point each)
These shirts are size medium military brown.  They are new, however, some have faded a bit in the chest so they would be good for dying.

1.5" Black Cotton Webbing (1 point per yard)

Sansa's Swap Shop

Smoke and Pet Free Home

Ready Made

Three Point Items

Dragon Scarf (3)

Body is 2.5 inches wide. Head is 4 inches wide. Total length 34 inches. Hand Knit. Green belly is 100% wool. Black back is 50% acrylic 50% tencel

Butterflies Singlet Style Grocery Bag (3)
14 inches high by 12 inches wide not including handles. Comes with zippered pouch to put folded bag inside. I have more of this fabric.

Two Point Items

Butterfly Satin Lined Bag (2) Lined with White satin. 7 inch square based bag with wrist strap and drawstring closure. Handy for holding knitting projects. Distance from base to drawstring approx 12 inches. In the pic, twelve balls of wool and a ten inch pair of knitting needles are tucked away.

Totable Tote Butterfly/heart(2)

Left and right totes measure 14 x 9 x 4.5 inches unfolded. Folds to 6 x 5 inches. I had to rotate the pattern piece on the middle one, so it must be 9 x 14 x 4.5 inches ie. It is shorter and wider than the other two. Lining is same as handle fabric on right tote. The other two are pink/white stripe lining.

Left purple bandana tote SOLD

I have kept the position the same in both pics, so each tote has one heart and one butterfly.

One point Items

Panta from hand dyed yarn by Penguino. Velcro not stitched down in the pic but it will be before I send. 18 inches not including the tabs which are approx. 2.25 inches long.

Panta from varigated brown yarn 50% wool  iirc. I used a smaller hook on this one as I thought the first one was a bit large. 16 inches not including the tabs which are approx. 2.25 inches long.

Twelve x twelve inch sewing notions bag (1)

Black Spotted Compact Stitching Case (1)

Barbie Totable Tote - Small (1)

Measures 6 inches wide x 9.5 inches high unfolded and 5.5 x 4 inches when folded

Lining fabric is a different Barbie fabric covered with hearts.

Barbie hostess apron. Base white linen fabric covered with gauzy pink Barbie themed fabric. This lay nice and flat but I had to embroider over the seams due to the nature of the pink gauze and now it curls at the edges. To test it, I washed and ironed it before taking this picture to ensure no fraying. This is adult sized and the waistbag is 17 inches. The ties are approx. 40 inches long. Made from an original 1969 pattern.

Half Point Items

Alien Invasion iPod cosy. Cocheted from sock weight 100% wool yarn.

Smoke free and Pet free home.

Cold Processed All Vegetable Oil Soaps  1 pt. each

Soap bars are approximately 3 1/2 in. x 2 1/2 in. x 1 in. and a minimum of 3.5 ounces. All bars are slightly beveled to be comfortable in the hand, and come wrapped in a cigar band (paper band with label) or soap box. If you need a fancier looking bar for a gift, let me know and I can fancy it up.(fabric, ribbon, lace, mulberry paper, etc).

Ingredients for regular bars: Filtered water, Olive Oil, Coconut Oil, Palm Oil, Shea Butter, Castor Oil, Sodium Hydroxide (Lye), Synthetic Fragrance Oil or Natural Essential oil (listed with each scent), pigment or mica.

No lye (sodium hydroxide) remains in finished product. My bars are superfatted at 7%, which means there are 7% more oils/butters in the bar than it takes to fully saponify the amount of lye that is used. This makes for a mild bar.

My bars are cured for a minimum of 6 weeks, which makes for a harder and more mild bar. Handmade soap does not like to sit in water, so please use a draining soap holder and make sure to keep it out of the spray of the shower so it doesn't turn to mush.

Available Fragrances:

Lemon Dreams (1 pt.) (3 Available)

Essential oils of lemon, lime, and litsea cubeba with cranberry seeds for gentle exfoliation.. It has orange, yellow, and pink pigment, very bright colors. This is a lighter scent that has faded as it cures, but will pop back up as you use the bar

Lime and Black Pepper (1pt.) (4 Available)

Essential oils of lime and back pepper and the tiniest hint of patchouli to give it depth.  Colored with a swirl of neon green and black pigments.

Unscented, with color (2 Available)
This bar is for those with allergies or just prefer an unscented bar. But it's still pretty! Swirled with blue and green.

Gardeners Scrub (0 Available)

Made with calendula tea and scented with essetntial oilsorange, peppermint, lemon, lemongrass, citronella, and full of calendula petals, poppy seeds, and orange peel powder for maximum scrubbiness.

Kitchen Coffee Scrub (4 Available)
Made with freshly brewed strong coffee, ground coffee beans, and orange essential oils to remove icky smells off your hands in the kitchen.

Ocean Sea Salt Spa Bar (0 Available)

Fragrance oil. Sea Salt for rich creamy lather and dried kelp for added oceany goodness.

Creamy Coconut Vanilla (1 Available)

Fragrance oil.

Herbal Mist (0 Available)

Fragrance oil. Colored with green tea. Not the prettiest bar, but if you love the scent Bath & Body Works discontinued years ago, here it is!

Jasmine Rose (2 available)

Jasmine fragrance oil and Egyptian Rose Geranium Essential Oil. Also contains Rose clay and Jasmine wax.

Rosemary Mint (0 Available)

Fragrance and Essential oils, swirled with chromium green.

Lavender (2 Available)

Bulgarian lavender essential oil, swirled with ultramarine purple pigment

Orange blossom (4+ Available)

Light orange blossom fragrance oil with pale orange pigment

NEW Goat's Milk Soap--White Tea Fragrance (0 Available).

This is a popular White Tea dupe, it smells light and fruity (peachy) and is lightly colored peach. This is not a square bar, but an oval molded bar.

1/2 Pt Items

NEW Lip Balms.

In standard .15 oz white lip balm tube. Ingredients: Rice Bran Oil, Cocoa Butter, Beeswax, Castor Oil, flavor or essential oil, sweetener.

(essential oil) (7 available) 1/2 pt each

(flavor oil) (1 available) 1/2 pt each

Pictures and more scents coming soon someday.

upcoming: Crocheted dishcloths/washcloths with pictures, DIY lip balm and lotion kits, crocheted scarves, sewn aprons, lined coin purses with velcro, liquid lotion, different scents of lotion bars and of course, MORE SOAP!

Hello ladies, I am going to take a break this month from this swap. Thanks everyone!.

I'm located in California, and no pet nor smoke.  However, I live with my BIL, who does smoke.  He smokes OUTSIDE, but as I'm sensitive to Cigarette smells if he comes into the house freshly from smoking the cigarette smell lingers for a bit, but he's not home too often.  I don't ever smell smoke on my craft items, but i feel that since I am super sensitive to smells I should disclaimer that plus i feel like each home smells differently anyway, so things coming from other houses will just have a smell, but that is just me.

Thanks for shopping, I hope there is something that you like!

I'm adding a new hat to my repertoire of hats, foliage from knitty.  Your hat will be also in wintergreen, this is from the extra yarn that i have left over on the one that i made above.

Owl Hat in Vanna's Choice Honey
These will be made to order, I will be cranking these out when claimed, please let me know if you need that hat to be made large or small, otherwise, i'd just make it average.

Claims from me:
AQ - Foliage Hat (1 Point) send by march 10 2008
Atusko -  3 Owl hats (3 Points) send by March 10 2008

~ Msviolaceous' Den of Iniquity ~

I am located in the United States, and I have a really fluffy dog, and a cat who likes to jump on whatever I'm working on.

~ I am open to custom orders! PM me! ~

Handdyed Spinning Fiber!

Lagoon. 2 oz. Columbia/Dorset 100% wool top. It's a relatiely inexpensive wool, so it's not as soft as some others, but it is definitely soft enough to spin, and should also felt well. I threw this together with some leftover bits of dye, and I'm thrilled with how it came out! Two points.

Blueberry Guts. 2 oz. squishy Merino top. There is oe more available. This one didn't fluff up as much as the others did after dyeing, but it will puff up when you draft it! Two points.

Box of Crayons. 3 oz. Columbia/Dorset 100% wool top. There are six colors in the pack, and you get roughly 1/2 oz. of each. Only one pack left! It's a relatiely inexpensive wool, so it's not as soft as some others, but it is definitely soft enough to spin, and should also felt well. Use this to enhance your color palette for needle felting or wet felting, or just spin it into rainbow yarn! The blue and purple separated out, just because those dyes like to do that, but when you draft the fibers (pull them apart to loosen them up) that will blend up a lot. Three points.
- Pulled from the shop.

Evergreen Headband. Hand-knit arrowhead lace, from delicate Rowan wool yarn with tweedy bits. Approximately 17 inches in length by 2 inches wide, with 10.5 inch ties (lots of stretch, so it'll adjust to fit most any adult head, and probably teens as well.) Care instructions: hand wash in cold water and either lay flat to dry or pin it to a flat surface under some tension to show off the lace ("blocking.") Three points.

Hand-Dyed Yarn! Dyed by me with food coloring and possibly some kool-aid.

Really Old Candy Cane (on the left in the photo). 100% wool (Paton's Classic Merino), 100 grams, 223 yards. 4''=20 stitches on size 7 needles. This yarn will self-stripe with some subtle watercolor variation in the colors. Two points.

Handspun Yarn! Coming soon.

Oddments Button Bobby Pins. I was going to make these mismatched bobby pins and have them claimed individually, but in the end I liked the pairs I was able to put together. Choose from royal purple, earth tones or zebra. These are vintage buttons glued securely onto the standard heavy bobby pin finding. They are thicker and stronger than the standard hide-in-your-hair type of bobby pin. One-half point per pair.

Magic Hat Pins. The funkiest treasures from my bead stash on super-long stick pins - 8 inches long by default. However, I can make them as short as you like. The 8-inch pins will have a nailhead at the end, but if I shorten them I will make an eyelet stopper. See Tomato Teal as an example. One half point each.

From left to right: Stargate, Blue Swoopy, Starky, Tomato Teal, Icing, Verdant, Sceptre, Fade, and Bloopy. PM me for better pics of any of them.

Ladybug Anklet. Sterling-plated chain, wire wrapping, and lobster clasp, with glass beads. Adjustable from 9 to 11 inches. Custom sizing (and conversion into a bracelet) available upon request. One point.

Junk Food Earrings. Acrylic charms on chunky silver-plated chain with sterling french hook earwires. Choose from pizza/cokes and hamburger/french fries. One point each.

Jean Blue Button Bracelets in two sizes. Though they are each adjustable, one is sized and proportioned for a 5-6 inch wrist (modeled on my 5-inch wrist), and the other for a 7-8 inch wrist (modeled on my mineral water). The bracelets feature vintage buttons attached to a silver-plated chain with silver-plated wire wrapping and a silver springring clasp. The buttons may look black in some of the pictures, but the only colors involved are denim blue, cobalt blue, navy blue, and white. 1/2 point.

Araucania Quellon Yarn. A brilliantly soft viscose rayon and cotton chenille yarn. 161 yards per big 100 gram skein. Colorway #2, with varigated peach tones. The second photo is pretty true to color, but I left the first photo up so you can see the subtle varigations in the yarn. I have two extra skeins, but note that they have already been wound into balls. Also, this yarn has no dye lots. The two skeins I have should be pretty close to each other, but alternate balls to minimize striping if you want to use both on one project (no need to break the yarn, just carry it at the edge.) I made the ruffled collar from No Sheep For You from one skein with plenty left over. One skein would be enough for an ascot, two for a scarf. Two points per skein.

Thanks for visiting!
