Hi everybody!
well...i want to share with you this.  Its a proyect made between Diego, my hubby, and me. We are soooooooo happy of finally finish with her...ok, im going to tell you the story. Diego and i work together. One day, our boss told us "If i buy a dummy, would you paint it?"  We were so happy, cause actually we had talk many times about doing that, about how fun would it be, about how beautiful could it be...This was in september, so we spent FIVE months in painting her... its been a nightmare, believe me. we couldnt rest aour hands on the surface, we had to practice contortionism to reach some places, we had to apply layers, and layers, and layers, and layers of colour to get the exact colors that we wanted...a really hard and long work, but i hope it worth it!
Oh i almost forgot it, the face is painted by me too, the original makeup was so ugly that i removed it with alcohol and made it again.
Some of the elements are taken from Jack moshers book "100 oriental drawings" cause it was so long to make tthat we realised the need of been helped for some flash designs...like the mask in the back and some koi fish. anyway, the compositions in wich are those elements and the rest of them are ours.
And finally i can show her to you!

it says "Please dont touch! Handpainted by Diego and Mara" i made it with polymer clay^^
thanks a lot for looking! i would love to know what do you think about this. If you want to see more pics of details and the process, theyre on my flickr.
Have a nice day!!

That is AMAZING.  There are so many elements I LOVE about it.  The tiger, the eye in the heart, the pond and flowers, the dragon and bird.   I had to hit this Rocks!

That is just amazing! I can't imagine the amount of time, dedication and planning it must have taken!

I love tattoos, I only have the one so far but I plan to get more over time. All in black and grayscale though. For some reason coloured ink will never find its way onto my body even though I think it looks beautiful on other people.

Very, very cool.  I'm doubly impressed now that I saw her whole body (I linked from your post on the clay accessories.)  Everything is gorgeous, but my favorite is the koi and lotus pattern on her stomach.  Great job, this rocks!

All I can say is WOW!  It's so vibrant.  I love the fact that everything is very feminine, even things that wouldn't normally be...like the oni mask on the back.

Beautiful work!
