I actually didn't buy any, I have way too much yarn at home already! There were probably about 5 bags there though, so hopefully there will be something for you!

I have a national directory of charity thrift shops that I hope you'll find useful.

Hello,

Thrift shopper your site rocks, I'm on vacation in new england and printed a bunch of stuff from your site on local stores and found it oh so useful. The listings so far have been very accurate and helped me to find places I would never have found otherwise. Thanks for such a great helpful site.

If you're willing to make the trek out to Brockton, the Charity Guild on Main Street has a basket of yarn, as well as some assorted pattern booklets.

And if you're there on a Saturday and see a black-haired young woman working, say hi to me.  Cheesy

LOOKING FOR A PERSONAL SWAP: I'm hoping for dinosaur-themed Xmas crackers, or other dinosaur Xmas items. I can make a Jayne Cobb hat, or many other things!

There's a classic Massachusetts store called Building 19 that my mom used to shop at when she lived here as a kid/teen.  You can google-search the name to find their website, and they actually have several stores around the Boston area, with names like Building 19 1/2, and Building 19 7/8.  They have random overstock goods, with everything from shoes to furniture to pet supplies to... yarn!  There's usually a random assortment of yarn at a decent discount.  I can never resist buying some whenever I'm there.  Tongue

I live across the street from a Building 19 and I love it! Smiley
