HI all! My name is Christina and I am fairly new to the site.  After playing peeping Tom, I have decided to post one of my most recent projects in the hopes that it might inspire somone as all of you have inspired me!

Here goes:
I found this ugly, pressed board telephone cabinet that had been discarded for trash. It was in really good condition and fits in my hall nicely. Unfortunately it is not exactly my taste. So what is a girl to do? PAINT!!

(I forgot to take a B4 shot and didnt remember till the project was almost complete. )

Pink background is dry and ready for stripes.

I still have to make a door knob. I am thinking of doing something with pink rhinestones to add a punch of sparkle.
So what do you think?

Thanks! The Zibra stripes were very easy to feehand. They are just basically "V's" that arnt perfect. Nature isnt perfect, so it is hard to mess them up really.

How is the paint holding up on the pressed board? I have some big bookcase cabinet things made of the same material and I cannot sand them but also want to paint them. I'm afraid it will get peel-y since particle board can't be sanded!
