I'll be stopping at the PO this afternoon to drop off my package. I got a migraine at 1am last night and my head still hurts.  Sad I'm canceling my Opthalmology appointment for today. I feel like crap and I have a TON of cleaning to do today. Oh the joys of having kids. You massively clean one day and end up redoing at least 50% of that the next day.  Roll Eyes

dear Gods that was by the skin of my teeth!!

I was the 2nd to last person allowed into the post office queue (it's inside a shop, and it closes before the shop does), but it's finally on its way and I'll apologise to my stalkee now for the crappy handwriting, but I only had time to scrawl, not do my "best" handwriting! (though, tbh, my best hand writing's pretty crappy too  Roll Eyes)

I should probably find something to eat sharpish... *mumbles something about diabetic comas*

Nothing like waiting til the last minute to finish up. I was up til 2am then awake at 9am.  at 11am I realized I was missing an essential tool for finishing my large item. I have said tool but its in a box in my sister's apartment 60 miles away. So  I ran to my parents down the road to borrow the tool from them.  My dad tells me he has said tool but it's in the garage on our property on the other side of town. As I'm leaving their house it is pouring rain and what do you know, my windshield wiper snaps off.  I could just scream. I pull back in the driveway and fiddle with my windshield wiper in the pouring rain for about 10 minutes before saying "screw it" and stealing the one off my sister's car. Hopefully she won't miss it.  I get to the garage and realize taht I don't have keys to get in.  So I say "screw it" again and drive to Michaels where the girl there so helpfully tells me that they don't sell those. I don't believe her though so I scour every aisle in the store until I find one! I pay way too much for said tool and finally make it home and finish up my last item.  I am running late for work now but that is not going to stop me from swinging by the post office to mail out my package.

OH OH OH OHMG!!!

I fixed it!! I fixed-d-dixt-it!!! WOO HOOOO!!! Now come and do the "dance of JOY"!!!!

So it looks totally different then what I started out as, but I love it again! Granted it only contains 1/2 of the original large, but it's DONE! YAYAYAYAYAYAYAYAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY!!!

I'm so happy I could cry.

I finished it after my headache went away. I had to completely redo the core of it, but I think it looks pretty good. Grin I am now satisfied with the package. *whew* I hope my Partner like it.

I was up 'til about 3am as well! But it was fun, I'm super happy with how everything came out, it's not an overstuffed package but everything was made with care. Cheesy

Off to the post office! Or rather, off to Walgreens to get floppy disks for my camera so I can take pictures of the items and then off to the post office! Whoosh!
