Threadoryarn sent me a fabulous package!  She made this adorable little robot: 


And she included a beautiful kanzashi pin and a length of lovely floral fabric!


I forgot to take a photo of the robot's back--the dark green patch is knitted in a kind of "static" pattern that is so cute!

Threadoryarn made up the robot pattern based on something from my wists!  Amazing job!  As soon as I opened the package, Mr. Boot grabbed the robot and started playing with him...I had to wrest it back and claim it for me!  Definitely a hit in this BSG-obsessed house.  I love it!  Thank you so much, Threadoryarn!

Glad you like it! The 'static' pattern is from Debbie New's Unexpected Knitting book - it's called Cellular Knitting - the 'rule' I used was if the stitches on the 2 needles are the same, you use one color, if they're different you use another color.
