When I PMd LindsayLuu to clarify what she wanted out of a slouchy hat, she sent me this pattern http://jessicasuzanne.com/craftypants/2007/09/13/pretty-puffs-slouchy-hat-with-pattern/ because she had been admiring it. So I used that, since it was what she wanted, and since this is the wish swap I was aiming to please. I hope she posts some action shots

hey...I received my package from missmuffcake today.  She picked me for two pot holders (knitted) and an ATC.  She delivered!



Thanks so much.  I will use my pot holders to protect my counter that I tend to burn.  Also, this is my first ATC!

I received from OneRedBoot and, oh my goodness, I've been so spoiled.

First, she sent me two little bandanna bibs.  I do believe I spy Denyse Schmidt and Amy Butler Fabrics??



And here is one being modeled by Lambie the Lamb (our stuffed animals have woefully unoriginal names):



And here is the unbelievable snap bonnet she sent (once again, modeled by Lambie)!  I cannot believe it is hand made - it looks SO professional.



OneRedBoot, if you have better pictures, feel free to post them.  I don't think my picture does this bonnet justice.  It is just so gorgeous and I know my summer baby will love it.  Well, I will love it.  She probably won't know the difference

The bonnet is amazing. It definitely looks like a professional item that someone would pay lots of $$ for in one of those baby boutiques.

hokiekate, I'm so glad you like the bonnet and bibs!  The bonnet is from a 1940s pattern that I found in the depths of my mom's pattern boxes the last time I was visiting.  The pattern calls for buttons and buttonholes, but I used snaps to make it a bit more modern.  The bibs are based on little bandana bibs from that awesome German toy / kids' clothing company, Kathe Kruse.  My photos of the bonnet turned out about the same--I think this is one of those pieces that needs to be modeled by a real baby to show it off best!  Glad you are happy with everything!  And--no pink!  Just like you said!

This is Spot - he likes hugs (and I like hugging him) from hokiekate. She also sent me a mini iron and mini ironing board (much needed) but my pictures due to no natural light right now look off. Thanks so much!

oneredboot: Yes, I definitely appreciated the non-pinkness .  I really like the soft blue color you used.  Beautiful.  Sigh.

And, Yay - a picture of Spot!  Here he is modeling the mini-iron and the mini-ironing board.  It was hard giving Spot away, even though I had no use for him.  He's just so soft and snuggly!
