I received a great package from AsphaltQueen yesterday!  Look:

A needlebook JUST like the one on my wist!

The inside of the needlebook with a spot for scissors!  Check out these original photos -- the black and white are wintertime Grand Canyon shots and the waterfall is in Canada!  AQ is photo-talented!

A pic of the cover of the book of images, ATC ready and girly/classical!  Love it!  I think the black and whites are going to hang in my office!  The waterfall is going in my bedroom!

Thank you for your generous swap package, AQ!  You lifted my spirits!

I'm glad you liked everything, addicted2knitting! Pretty much the only change I made to the needlebook was that I made the heart puffy - this way you can stick some pins in that while you're working. And I'm glad you like the photography, the waterfall is one of my favorite pictures ever, it always makes me feel tranquil.

ooo, is that 19th century women book a Dover publ? That looks like such a fun one for ATCs/collaging. Another thing for my wishlist!  Cheesy

I have a question for all you novice swappers out there.  I'm getting ready to mail a package to Australia from US.  On the customs form, should I list that it contains ALUM, a spice that doesn't seem to be available in Australia?  It will contain some crafted items too, I just wondered if that would hold it up?

oops I meant to put this in questions not the gallery.
Never mind...maybe someone can delete it?
I'll repost in questions.

Those are some really awesome packages! I must say, my fave is the f*ckit bucket, which I was curious about! I saw that it was up for claims, but had no idea what to expect! Awesome!

I also rec'd from the lovely and generous mountaingrrl...
A set of adorable notecards, 3 great rubber stamps, some traveler's info for whenever I venture out into Wyoming, postcards for my collection, and a cool emergency kit for my car! Thanks so much for the loot!

And from ThreadOrYarn I rec'd a huuuuuge bag of roving in many colors, plus needles, foam, and directions for needle felting! I've been wanting to learn for so long, so I am really excited about this package! Thank you!

eta: odd, on my photobucket account these photos are right side up and not at all squished! I'll have to investigate!

I love the fuckit bucket. That is soo hilarious, the little beanbags made me giggle.

Oh and those stencils are AMAZING as well, if I tried to do that freehand I would probably lop off a finger.

I did get myself once pretty good. It's amazing how much skin you can slice off without actually bleeding.... That part was tender for quite some time. I can still see the spot if I look closely....sigh....

Just wanted to post a pic of the hat that I sent to LindsayLuu, I am quite happy with how it turned out.

Cookie Monster thought the hat was comfy.

Oops you can see my foot, I thought I cropped that out.. Hmm...

Cookie Monster was kind enough to model it before it got packed away to be sent. I included some ribbon that she could lace through the hat's "brim" to coordinate with her outfit or mood. I also felt like the hat needed a little touch of color.
