Oh, those stitch markers are sweet! I never thought of using shrinky dinks for 'em - quite ingenious, nofury!   Wink

YAY!!! I'm glad you liked! I'm assuming you don't have pierced ears. Sad Oh, well.

I'm glad your daughter likes the outfit, too! I thought it may be too big, but I don't have kids and .... Well, it's been awhile for me, so I have NO concept of kids sizes!!! YAY!!!

Nofury,

Actually, I do have pierced ears, and I always, always wore earrings, never took them out except to change them.  I slept in them, showered, etc.  They didn't make me take them out when I had my kids.  However about two years ago I had to have surgery on my neck (spinal fusion) and for the surgery they made me take them out.  So for about a week I had them out and when I put some back in, well I couldn't find a pair that wouldn't make my ears bright red and itch...even the good stuff.  So, I guess my earring wearing days are over, but I still thought they were really cute.

And, as for my daughter.  She is almost seven going on 13.  I'll try and get her to model for me tonight.   She is a sweetie, but she takes after me and is messy, messy, messy!  And I guess I'm not mean, but when push comes to shove, I'm a mom first and a friend second.

The earrings match the stitch markers. We should be coordinated crafters!!!

I did have a pic of the outfit (the top did make it, didn't it?Huh I did put it in the box, didn't I???), but .... I guess I deleted it. I can't find it anywhere!!!

I wish more mothers could make the distinction!

My mom used the same threat. I didn't believe her. I should have!!!  Cry

I still remember that big black trash bag! I doubt she threw them away. Prob donated. I had too many toys anyway, but my room was alot cleaner from that day on!!!

Me again  Wink A big thank you to Sajona today!

Sajona sent me 2 sewing patterns for the more ample figured lady (me), 10 balls of a lovely red 4 ply cotton to use on my knitting machine - she kindly rewound them into "cakes" for me too AND (I love this) a 12" square for my blanket-to-be with my initial on  Grin

I like sending to the UK as they get there the next day!! The letter chart is from 'Simple Knits for little cherubs' by Erica Knight. If I choose you again you'll have to give me another letter to do!! The whole parcel was from stash - I felt very virtuous!

all from stash? WOW you must have the best stash ever (well for me today anyway!) My initials are KKSC so feel free to claim me at some other point *lol* that would make up the whole top row of my blanket and nobody could ever steal it from me  Grin

I'll have to see if I can find that book in the library, I never even considered letter squares before and I'm making a 12" squares blanket for my niece to take with her when she goes to Uni' in Sheffield.
