I claim bettflow for some quilting supplies and glass beads.

This is my 2nd claim, 0 sent, 0 received.

I'm 31 years old, I'm a stay at home mom of two.  I live in Ohio, right next to the new Ikea being built.  I love making gifts for people instead of buying them (even though they usually turn out to be more expensive) and most of my crafty items are given away as presents so I don't have many of my own and would love to start getting crafty items from others!  In general I don't like bright colors, neon and such.  My house is pretty neutral shades of green, brown, tan, blue.  I am pretty simple...I only wear my wedding ring as jewelry and I can only wear gold earrings which I don't like very much (white gold is good but expensive ) so I usually don't even wear earrings.

Crafted Items---New items in RED
1.  I like anything small....miniature anything makes me smile.

2. Small zipper change purse -one on the way  Smiley

3.  Wall art- any medium I just love original stuff.  When I was about 7 I made a promise to myself never to hang anything on my walls that I could go into someone else's house and see.  Which is why my wall are basically bare.  Who has time to make everything!  But, anything framed or on canvas is wonderful.  My craft room is Brown and light brown, with dark red and white accents.

4. Felt food for my kids.pancakes and pizza would be WONDERFUL!

5.  mosaics....  Love mosaics.  They don't have to glass or ceramic or very large.  Paper, polymer clay, pebbles...small stuff like this....
http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=204357.0

6. polymer clay magnets-food, faces, animalswhatever

7.  Make your own stamp starter kit.  It doesn't have to be a store bought kit, just a couple supplies and a note or two on how to start.

8. ATC.  I havent delved into this yet, but I have been lurking around looking at them.  I think I would like to start.

9.  Damn it Doll.  One of those that you can beat against the wall when you are really pissed off I also like these.  I think they are very funny, however Im more of a sh*t, damn, piss type, a little more mild I guess.
http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=227161.0

10.  I could really use some sort of big project bag with a shoulder strap.  I am out a lot with the kids and like to bring things with me.  I will look for an example.http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=225690.30
You have to scroll down, but I really like the bag on this page, although I don't need anything super fancy...just a bag, but I would like some sort of way to close it.
I also like this bag:[/font]http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=205910.msg2198969;topicseen#msg2198969
11.  A SWAP journal!
12. Crochet stitch markers.
Some on the way
 13.  Either this pattern or a doll or animal made this way.  I had one when I was little and would love to have another. http://www.etsy.com/view_listing.php?listing_id=8087618

14.  Crochet or knitted pot holders or trivets.

15.  I want to make an ispy quilt, so any interesting fabrics that I can fussy cut.  Probably need to be at least 4 in square in size...scraps are great.

Supplies

1. Safety eyes for stuffies.  I can't seem to find them around me.

2. This book http://global.yesasia.com/en/PrdDept.aspx/code-j/section-books/pid-1004536033/  in case link didn't work it is a Japanese book Crochet Motif Item

3. Needlepoint/cross stitch fabric - white or off white, preferably a smaller size psi  14 or 18 or 22-some one the way!!!

Anything that you are great at or love doing.   Like to Mod Podge everything you see?  Make soap or candles?  Make Journals?  Anything you would like to share would be greatly appreciated.  I like being surprised!

****My kids would be very excited to receive a gift also, so if you are interested in making them something that would be excellent.  My son (4) is a Thomas the train FREAK. He also likes pirates and cars.  My daughter is 6 and she is a girly girl/karate kid.  Make sense?  She LOVES karate and has completed several belt ranks already, but in a heart beat she puts on pretty dresses and LOVES jewelry and hair accessories.  PM me for belt color or fav. colors...they both change all the time.

Thank you in advance for all your time and work!  Any gift is received with great love.

I claim missmuffcake for a mini iron!  List coming up...

I'm in Fairfax, Va (USA).  This is my 2nd claim. 0 sent, 0 received.

About me: I am a 30-year-old stay at home mom who loves to sew, but seems to have very little time to do so of late. I'm not very girly and I'm not a big fan of trinkets.  Basically, I'm very practical and like useful things.  Of course, I consider things to hang on the walls useful Wink.

Crafts

Things for my kids:

I am expecting a little girl late June and would love some crafted goodies for her.  Here are some suggestions:

-knitted/crocheted blankies in lavendar (I'm trying to convert my green/blue/yellow nursery into a girl's room by adding lavendar accents)

-bibs.  I love cute little handmade baby bibs and have yet to try my hand at making them

-Baby clothes.  I love little girl clothes of all kinds.  I'm just not crazy about pink, but anything else is a go.  Be creative!  I'll take any and all sizes, just make sure you label them so I know what they are.

-I need a new changing pad to keep in my diaper bag.  Something waterprrof, please (maybe oilcloth??).

My 2.5-year-old son doesn't want to be left out of the crafty goodness either!

-My sister-in-law is making him a toy kitchen, but he doesn't have any play food.  I would LOVE some crafted food for him.  Nothing with choke-able parts, so probably made of fabric would be good.

-Dress up clothes.  I'm trying to put together a collection of dress-up clothes for him, but I'm stumped for what to include in it.  So far, all he has is some capes and a fireman hat.  I would appreciate some assistance -whatever you can dream up.

Things For Me

-Homemade notecards.  I love sending homemade notecards and I've seen some really beautiful ones out there.  You can have total creative freedom with this one, just stay away from anything religious or political Wink.

-Cloth napkins (for everyday dining use) in shades of blue, purple, or yellow

-Anything from my wists.

-Surprise me with what you do best.  Just, you know, try to make it something I can make use of Wink.

Supplies

-Quilting fabric.  I'm a quilter and my stash is woefully in need of some yellows, purples and neutrals.  I'll accept any and all sized pieces (including scraps), but I would really prefer quilt-shop quality fabric.

-Sewing patterns for childrens' clothing.  I especially would like a pattern for baby bloomers (you know, to wear under dresses).

-Bias Tape Maker

-Wool felt in a variety of colors.

I claim hokiekatie for handmade notecards and some wool felt (I'll pm ya for color requests).

This is my 2nd claim (0 sent, 0 received) and I am in the U.S. Here's a mini-bio with more info than you'll ever want.   Wink

I'm 32 and live in the lovely state of Michigan with my wonderful husband and our beagle, Snort. Snort's idea of the good life is eating, sleeping and eating her own poo. She's my fur-baby, and while we don't treat her like a human child, she is a member of our family. I own an asphalt company with my Dad and work about 70-80 hours a week in the summer, so I basically have no life, including crafting, from May through the end of November. However, come December, I get to craft like a crazy woman! My husband works for a minor league baseball team, so luckily our schedules coordinate somewhat and while we rarely see each other in the summer for more than an hour or two at a time, we do get to hang out in the winter. We've been married for a little over a year and are still enjoying each other's company. I'm a flittering crafter, I like to try everything once and the things I really enjoy, I keep up with. My current favorites are knitting (my first adult sweater is on the needles and it's getting really hard to keep going!) and papercrafts, though I'm trying to get back into watercolors and really need to start using my pottery wheel again. Things I'd really like to try at some point are resin, crochet (mainly for amigurumi, but also for things like blankets, 'cause crochet sounds like it's quicker for that), and needle felting. I like sarcastic wit and jokes that make you think, and I seem to be experiencing a renewed love for the '80s. Favorite tv show of all time is The Office and favorite movies are Real Genius (with a very young Val Kilmer) and the original Willy Wonka (c'mon, a movie all about candy!) I love nature and waterfalls are my favorite places to check out. And my favorite food in the whole world is donuts. Best flavor explosion - a fresh, hot, plain cake donut, straight from the oven with a glass of apple cider. Go, Quality Dairy! (Will only make sense to anyone from the greater Lansing area in Michigan.) I dislike mean people, people who are stupid by choice, soy sauce, political campaigns, and having religion preached to me without an invitation.

Please feel free to look over my wists as I like everything on there and wisty surprises are fun, fun, fun!!! Thank you so, so much to anyone who chooses me!

CRAFTED ITEMS SOMEWHAT SORTED BY TYPE OF CRAFT
KNIT/CROCHET/YARN
  • knit socks (womens size 9)  (kitty vegas made me my first pair and Im hooked!)
  • amigurumi or felted beagle (Ill fight ya for this one, Grieney!)
  • amigurumi or felted hippopotamus
  • amigurumi or felted cookie monster (actually, any of the old-school sesame street characters would be great and Ive even got free patterns listed on my wist!)
  • amigurumi or felted pelican
  • pair of knit half-finger gloves with a fold-over mitten flap
  • Handspun yarn and I'd love to try some art yarn! (please make sure theres enough yardage to do a small project, like a scarflette or something, so probably a minimum of 80 yards?)
  • On the off-chance that someone is just itchin to do a knit shrug, Ive got a few listed on my wist

SEWN
  • NEW a small purse like this http://www.etsy.com/view_listing.php?listing_id=9882647
  • NEW some type of overnight bag that has a number of pockets to hold misc. toiletries and stuff (Ive seen some Amy Butler ones that are cute, but it doesnt necessarily have to be that involved or fancy unless you feel like it basic tote with interior pockets is fine by me)
  • NEW a skirt or pants made to actually fit me (Im tired of having a 3 gap of material at my waist or if theyd fit my waist, not being able to pull pants up over my hips). Im guessing a skirt would be easier, but I dont really know. Im not picky about fabrics (as long as its somewhat fashionable), and if this is too big a wish when you include the materials, Id be happy to buy whatever you need and mail it to you if youre in the U.S.
  • Placemats (set of 2, 4 or 6), and/or hand towels (sewn would be best, and though Im loving the log cabin look, anything would be sweet!) to co-ordinate with my kitchen colors (sage green and burgundy). If you can have a little loop on the hand towels for hanging, thatd be awesome!
  • Pair of Strawberry Shortcake, Super Mario, Smurfs or PacMan long pajama pants (any fabric is fine, PM for measurements but I wear a Nick and Noras size large if that helps)
  • Pair of Strawberry Shortcake, Super Mario, Smurfs, or PacMan pajama shorts (any fabric is fine, PM for measurements but I wear a Nick and Noras size large if that helps)

ART/PAPERCRAFTS
  • your original artwork, whatever medium you like (I prefer smaller pieces, nothing larger than 8x10 unless you PM me first to make sure I have a place to display it)
  • Pelican notecards. Stamped, collaged, drawn, whatever!

SILKSCREEN/IRON-ONS/ETC.
  • silkscreened t-shirt with the phrase    neat-o mosquito     (feel free to add a cool image if you have one) womens large, 38-40 bust
  • t-shirt like this one that errka made for me last year that I have worn and washed so much its falling apart!  womens large, 38-40 bust   http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=155224.msg1545936#msg1545936
  • silkscreened or handpainted or stenciled t-shirt from my wists, basically animal/nature stuff  (Ive got a few on there) womens large, 38-40 bust

JEWELRY/ACCESSORIES
  • NEW headbands. I need to start wearing my hear in something other than ponytail holders, so I figured Id try some headbands. I guess any style is fine? My hair is thinning and is somewhat fine, so if that means anything and Id prefer more muted colors/fabric, nothing too flamboyant or childish.
  • A glass or soldered or resin pendant Ive got examples on my wists of some I like, or choose an image you think Id like!
  • Pretty ponytail holders. I wear my hair in a ponytail about 90% of the time and Id love some that are a little more dressy than the plain-jane bands I always wear. Ive got a few examples on my wists. (Only request is that theyre the ouchless holders so my hair doesnt get ripped out.)
  • NEW-Pelican pendant sculpy, glass, collaged, resin, whatever!

MISCELLANEOUS
  • hand-carved rubber stamps of your design
  • NEW-hand-carved rubber stamp with my return address (Ive got a sample on my wists)
  • custom tags for my knit items I gift to family and friends (PM me for info)
  • One of those gnome/hobbit mini-doors. Ive got at least one on my wists for reference.
  • Anything on the theme of Happy Homemaker with a twist (tongue-in-cheek kind of things) notepad, pendant, artwork, tote, t-shirt, whatever!
  • Anything on my wists Im constantly adding new items!

CRAFTY-SUPPLY ITEMS
  • Banana silk yarn, any color (havent tried this before!)
  • Yak yarn, any color (havent tried this before and I know its expensive, so remnants/small amounts are fine!)
  • One of Dulcinea's yarn-gasms (that's what I call it when she destashes her yarn upon someone because I get a warm, tingly feeling whenever I see the explosion of yarn)   Roll Eyes Oh, holy mother-of-all-that-is-crafty, this is on its way to me!!!
  • Michael Miller or Amy Butler (or similar style) cotton fabric, at least a yard, please! (Ive got some samples on my wists of what I like)
  • cutesy Japanese cotton fabrics, at least   yard, please! (Ive got some samples on my wists of what I like, but I tend to prefer the neutral backgrounds with little animals)
  • Weird or unique rubber or acrylic stamps. Zetti-type images, dancing animals, retro images, basically stuff you cant find at JoAnns (Ive got a few samples on my wists). Used is perfectly fine!
  • How to Do Resin Kit (I know nothing and have nothing)
  • Size 35 knitting needles so I can make this shrug (unless you want to make the shrug for me in a more muted color!)

-Cloth napkins, for everyday use, in shades of blue, purple, or yellow

-Anything from my wists.

-Surprise me with what you do best.  Just, you know, try to make it something I can make use of Wink.

Supplies

-Quilting fabric.  I'm a quilter and my stash is woefully in need of some yellows, purples and neutrals.  I'll accept any and all sized pieces (including scraps), but I would really prefer quilt-shop quality fabric.

-Sewing patterns for children's' clothing.  I especially would like a pattern for baby bloomers (you know, to wear under dresses).

-Bias Tape Maker

I claim oneredboot for a wisty surprise! Smiley

This is my 1st claim of 3, 0 sent, 0 received.

I'm 27 and I live in California with my boyfriend of almost 8 years and our one million cats. Im a vegetarian and I love to cook and bake. I knit, crochet, embroider, decoupage, and do some other misc. crafts with pictures cut from magazines. Im super into amigurumis and embroidery right now, but still havent actually made an ami yet. I love greens, blues, and purples. I watch WAY too many movies and am a complete and total Tivo-aholic. I love nature and Im kind of a punky hippie. I dont have any allergies, I just do not like the smell of cigarette smoke.

Crafts - in no particular order:

Curtains made from some super cute fabric in blues/greens - we live behind a plumbing place so our kitchen windows look out on their gross, old toilets - PM for measurements/colors/whatever else you need to know

Amigurumis! I love them!

Knit or crocheted scarf - no fun fur please and I love cables!

Knit or crocheted fingerless gloves

A calorimetry

A project bag like this: http://farm2.static.flickr.com/1336/634716981_d93a16b20f_o.jpg

Yoga socks

A snood

Super cute knitted hats - I have a lot wisted

Reusable shopping bags like this one, any color is fine: http://www.reusablebags.com/store/ecobags-earthtone-cotton-string-with-hemp-stuffsack-p-163.html

Pottery - any type/color - I love it!

An adult bib -   I'm kind of half kidding about this. I have big boobs and I spill something on them almost every time I eat. My bf is always saying I need a bib so I figured I'd post it on my wish list to see if one of you awesome sewers can create something amazing. I don't want it to look like a baby bib, I want it to be cute, something I can actually use.

Paintings for my sad, bare walls

Antique postcards and/or black and white photos (or sepia)

Anything having to do with Flight of the Conchords or Gilmore Girls

Embroidered anything

Candles - I like coconut, vanilla, apple and cinnamon, jasmine, lilac, melon

Handknit socks

Homemade soaps, lotions, lip balms, whatever. I dont have a bath tub though, so no bath stuff like salts.

Picture frames - I want to be able to hang them, I like blues, greens, blacks, LOVE mosaics

Cute buttons/pins - I've got some wisted so you can check out what I like

Cat beds!! Soft, comfy, warm ones.

Afghan/granny squares in blues and greens - 4 x 4 would be fantastic

Embroidered quilt squares - I dont care about the size, I just want them all to be the same size so my (sort of) mother in law can work them into a quilt. Themes I would love are Harry Potter, traditional American tattoo flash (think Mitch OConnell, Sailor Jerry style), nature, Day of the Dead/sugar skull type stuff, Alaska. Obviously I dont want one HP, one tattoo, and so on. Id like them all to be the same theme.

Re-usable tea bags

An apron - like this, or any others she makes: http://www.etsy.com/view_listing.php?listing_id=9508146

Any baked goodies you want to send me - I hate raisins!

Something for my boyfriend. He love, love, LOVES The Simpsons, especially characters other than the family like Comic Book Guy, Millhouse, Chief Wiggum. He rides a scooter so maybe something scooter related (specifically Honda Ruckus) or warm to wear when it's cold. He plays guitar and video games. He loves poker. Anything for him would be nice.

Headbands - I like chunky ones

Head scarves - silky, pretty ones

Anything having to do with my boyfriends: Clive Owen, James McAvoy, Leonardo DiCaprio

A notepad that can live in my purse, which means it needs to have a closure of some kind, and have a pretty sturdy cover thats preferably longer than the pages so they dont get bent. It should also be fairly small.

Anything inspired by my wists: http://www.wists.com/lilyvanilli

A crafted surprise - Ill love whatever you want to make me.

Craft Supplies:

Embroidery Hoops - All sizes - preferably in blues/greens/purples

Mason jars

Blank pillowcases/tea towels/canvas bags/Sublime Stitching banner for embroidery

A clickable row counter - http://www.purlsoho.com/purl/products/item/241

Kits:

Some kind of resin kit - jewelry or whatever

DIY canning kit - I really want to can some spaghetti sauce. I don't have a pressure cooker so just regular boiling method would be best.

Candle making kit

Polymer clay kit - I want to make some cute bottlecap magnets

Extras:

Candy from other countries - American candy is good too - I have a major sweet tooth!

Books - I love mysteries, short stories, and I will read anything you think is really good.

Blooming tea and a clear pot to brew it in

Old board games you dont want anymore - PM for specific games, I do have some

Reflexology socks/gloves
